Been modeling around the last couple of days because I had this idea for 'Gauldur Blackbow' in series of my ancient nordic stuff. Still have to fix some weight-painting and texture work (just a placeholder on it currently). Like last time it should have an inscription (front side and around the handle) and I was lost on this topic already last time so maybe you have some nice ideas again. Don't hold back, because I guess I'll need something to write on the quiver as well...

    Andvari and his magical ring, Andvaranaut, comes to mind.  Specifically around the patricide of Hreidmar by his son Fafnir for the ring.  Following the theme of patricide & Dwarves playing a role in both this norse myth and in Gauldur Blackbow(one of the few temperable ancient honed nordic bows in game benefiting from the dwarvish smithing perk) may just be a coincidence; but It could be more in our face about it. 
    Thinking a blend of dwarvish and nordic runes/design in a type of gold or goldish-red  on a black bow.  With some colourful description about cursing and murdering ones father for power tying it all up with a metaphorically horrific bow.
