   I prefer the one on the right. It still has too much polygons though. Maybe half as much would be good.

   May I ask for a screenshot comparing the polycount on yours and the SMIM version?
   
   Are you going to remake the rope mesh aswell?

      i dont have image
      Riften meshes the same. A few extra polygons added for the beveled posts, a few polygons saved from duplicates due to proper UV mapping.
      Solitude meshes quite lighter due to new ropes and proper UV mapping.
      
      8 more meshes to go, will be ready tonight probably

   The harsh edges have always bothered me, even tried tweaking them myself in 3DS Max to terrible results. This looks incredible, can't wait for the release

   Something like 3D Docks or so, using smim ropes for Riften, new ropes for Solitude. A million meshes to work, but turns out kinda nice.

      Can't wait to replace the SMIM ropes in Solitude...my FPS always tanks by the docks there

      Yes, the solitude docks meshes are at least 30% lighter than SMIM due to new ropes meshes. The Riften ones are the same, the SMIM ropes are awesome there, wont touch them.
