Idiot Elf = Hello Farengar. We’d like to buy some of your Soul Gems please. And can we use your Enchanting Table again?
Farengar = Of course. I’ve just got some new stock in. The Grand Soul Gems are just 1,300 Septims each.

Lydia = I’m guessing you’ve put Fortify Delusion on at least one piece of that armour! Oh hang on. You’re not wearing any of it yet are you!
Idiot Elf = Here’s your shield back. Sorry, but I’ve had to put a Fortify Block on it. For some reason it wouldn’t let me use Fortify Archery.
Lydia = How was I supposed to use a shield and a bow at the same time? Shame there isn’t a Fortify Intelligence enchantment available.
Idiot Elf = What do you want on your armour?
Lydia = Health Regeneration would be good. But I’m not sure I trust you not to miss. You will end up enchanting my bloody bra with something.
Idiot Elf = Now there’s a thought. Don’t be a baby. Get yourself on that table.
Lydia = Urm… Why have you just used a Petty Soul Gem for that Enchantment?
Idiot Elf = I thought they were called Pretty Soul Gems! You know, like pretty awesome, yes? Oh bugger!
Lydia = Let me guess. You’ve used Petty Gems on all that gear! What happened to the Grand Soul Gems we bought?
Idiot Elf = Don’t be daft. I used the Grand Soul Gems to put Muffle on our boots.
Lydia = What! You dizzy cow!
Idiot Elf = But it worked!
Farengar = Yep, she could have used anything for that enchantment. What was I saying about the female brain?
