Lydia = I don’t see why not. She uses her head to block all the time.

...Idiot Elf could never pull it off, but Lydia would enjoy seeing her practice

Nice tat on Lydia in the first frame! ;-)

This sure looks like a win-win-win for her!
    Pummel chauvinist pig mage!
Bone crunching, blood spattering killing spree!
Beating Idiot Elf till she gets enchanting right!

Now she can put those muscles she's built up bearing Idiot Elf's junk collection to really satisfying use!
    Thanks for all the laughs!

Never thought of that. Yep, Lydia would have a blast doing all her favorite things. Largely killing stuff and making Idiot suffer.

Your dialogue is priceless. You should be a professional comedy writer. :)

Farengar = For example, you cannot put the Fortify Block enchantment on a head piece. But it will go on a shield.
Lydia = I don’t see why not. She uses her head to block all the time.

    This exchange was hilarious.

Thanks Gurley - Comedy writer eh? Never thought of it. Is there any money in it? - LOL.
I suspect not. I'd better stick with the day job.

Image = Out of Balance - Part 10
Title = It was time for him to instruct her…
Idiot Elf = So come on. Tell us about Enchanting Farengar.
Farengar = Very well. There are several things you need for Enchanting. Firstly, the item itself. This can be jewellery, armour or a weapon for example. But different types of item will only accept certain enchantments.
Subtitle = It's animated, so be patient to read on
Farengar = For example, you cannot put the Fortify Block enchantment on a head piece. But it will go on a shield.
Lydia = I don’t see why not. She uses her head to block all the time.
Farengar = Then you need a Soul Gem filled with the soul of a beast. The greater the beast was, the more powerful the enchantment will be.
Idiot Elf = Where the hell do we get those?
Farengar = Well, you can buy some from me, but I have a limited stock. The normal way is to go out into the field and kill a beast using the Soul Trap spell. If you have an empty Soul Gem, then the soul will be ripped from the animal as it dies.
Idiot Elf = That doesn’t sound very pleasant!
Lydia = But it would give me the excuse to go on a killing spree.
Farengar = Next you need knowledge of the enchantment itself. You must first find an enchanted item and destroy it using the Enchanting Table here. This releases the arcane knowledge to you.
Idiot Elf = What? That makes no sense! I have to destroy a magic item to make a magic item!
Farengar = Yes. But you destroy weak items, and then create more powerful versions. Provided you have the final thing required for Enchanting.
Idiot Elf = Oh yes. What’s that?
Farengar = Skill my dear. The higher your skill, the more powerful the magic. And certain parts of Enchanting are not opened until you are a Master in the art.
Idiot Elf = That does sound like an awful lot of trouble. Can’t you just do it for me?
Lydia = Don’t you dare prove this chauvinist pig right! You’re gonna become an Enchantress, even if I have to beat it into you. Come on. Let’s go home and grab some stuff.
Subtitle = Next Time… Enchanting times.
