take care,hugs
This was back in January of 2019 when we were doing monthly themes.
Needless to say I spent a lot more time in producing the dragon theme sequence than most of my more current sets.
It was fun, tedious but rewarding.
As you review my past work, for me it's like reliving that portion of my life and brings back some fond memories.
Again my heartfelt thanks.
Be well dear friend.
Gurley
It's meager compared to you amazing special effects but I do what I can for now.
I do look forward to more of your magnificent imagery.
Love this awesome scene from "Fearless".
Yes, it takes a few retakes especially to get the drawn bow and arrow in flight scenes looking good.
Appreciate your kind support and I look forward to more of your lovely imagery.
Love your Sunday Elegance post; beautifully done.
Loved your Solstheim set and look forward to more of your excellent work.
Until then my friend.
Farewell....
But you gotta feel for Alduin a little bit, dude gets sent through a worm hole to freedom only to be defeated a couple weeks or so later because there happened to be a dragonborn nearby lol.
Great set, gurley! I was impressed that you managed to get some good shots/angles during that time wound scene considering the camera is locked (I think)
For the sake of brevity, I only included one pic for it but I thought that scene with the water stream splashing down into a shimmering shallow pool was at least somewhat representative.
And yes, Alduin is somewhat of a tragic character but as Arngeir aptly pointed out, Alduin might be permited by the gods to fulfill his destiny as the World-Eater at the end of the world.
Regarding the back in time images, I was able to adjust the camera view for those scenes but its a distorted view by design to similate a dream-like state so I didn't include many of those shots. For instance I was able to zoom in during that shot of Alduin perched on that precipice.
I will be on the lookout for more of your fine work my friend.
Until then, keep an eye an on the sky.....
Awesome mid air arrow grab, they can be tricky.
I enjoyed the story build up to the Throat of the World images
Great music, Masterfully crafted set.
As you know, I tend to do sequential scenes; I didn't want to just do a collection of dragon shots for this theme.
And yea, I had to slow down the animation to half speed to get those shots after several attempts.
Love that majestic dragon perched on the mountain image. Thank you for that also.
Hope to see more of the adventures of the lovely Lucinda soon.
I know you are busy and our time zones are out of sync but enjoy what you can dear friend.
Best wishes.
I would also note the she has nice freckles. :)
I love Tania's expressions and dialogue even if it is Japanese with English subtitles. :)
I love the way she will just randomly burst out in song. hahaa
That Deathwing version of Alduin is impressive but not very immersive. I decided to replace it with Bellyache's version for the next set.
I will be looking for more of your lovely imagery my friend.
Excellent shots as always - Gurley You Star.
Love both gifs; thank you for those as well.
Yea, all of the 2 Steps for Hell music is excellent for this kind of dramatic experience; really well done.
Hope to see more of Idiot Lydia soon. That last episode with Idiot bursting out in song was a brilliant hoot. :)
Yea, I have been working on it. Installed Bellyaches Alduin replacer for the finale'. :)
Look forward to more of your fine imagery my friend.
