    Can you share your alteration? I admire and drool as they look great for me. and as for me the specular maps are good, stones, blocks, they must be so in reality.

    The specularity makes sense if they are wet rocks close to water or just after rain.

    Its magic? =) I used this mod from the very beginning, well I had to abandon it, because of how awful the textures looked in the vicinity in the game. Well, you have done a miracle, saved this mod. and now it looks wonderful!
