  I think those may actually be subtle stretch marks ?
  Though, I'm not completely sure.

  They could be stretch marks, except they aren't on her right side as well. Plus they show at the top of the scratch a penetration, by what appears to be fingernails...but only the author knows for sure.

  But as triptherift said, the author just put them in one side. (I'm going to edit it and mirror it to the other side.)
  About the penetration thing: maybe is an optic effect when combined with the freckles, mixing their colors?
