I've checked everything I can think of and compared to vanilla and modded meshes. Normals, tangents, etc and nothing I do fixes this light leak. Any ideas?
I thought of the same thing. There is a small triangle opening right under the roof. And to me it looks like the sun passes through it, but on the opposite side of the tent creating light stripe.
Maybe merge vertices and see? It should show loose parts when using smooth shader in whatever 3d modeling software you are using though, they usually stick out.
Bad terminology maybe, but I'm wondering if it could be fixed by flagging the mesh as double-sided. Mods like EVLaS make use of it to prevent light from passing terrain. Not sure if a similar method could be used here. Not super knowledgeable in mod/mesh creation though, so just a wild guess.
Is it a new mesh or a retexture?, could be your collisions. Console TCL go on top and toggle it again. Go to the edge with the light leak and see if you pass through the mesh
