Wasn't happy with my first two hide armour redesigns in hindsight. These are much better IMO.

    I prefer the first designs. I think they looked more authentic. But that's just an opinion ofc.

      Out of curiosity, is there anything specific that you prefer in the older designs?

      The jacket with the fur was super cool. I also prefer the focus on the gambeson pattern that the first version had - I'm not really a fan of the lamellar.

      That being said, I can see where you're going with the new designs. These are a bit more historically accurate, perhaps, whereas the previous ones were a bit more fantasy like (the way I see it at least).

      I see what you mean. I love the vest too, but just simple gambeson plus a best PLUS a hat on the helmet, it felt a bit too clothes-y to me. The vest will definitely be used for a clothing replacer for sure.
