While I feel like the central square of Oakwood always was the best part and the monastery, added later, enhanced the overall athmosphere, I was never really satisfied with the western gate.
This version feels right to me now. It should be also more performance friendly.

As you are reworking this area, do you have any plans to add a little dirt path from Oakwood to Lakeview manor to connect them a bit more naturally?
Also seeing your monastery of Jhunal in the Tundra Overhaul, will you change the Oakwood one to something like Kyne eventually?
Yeah, I think I will add a little path. Good idea.
It will remain a Jhunalian monastery. I really liked the fact that you had to travel around Cyrodiil in Oblivion and do quests for each mages guild chapter to access the Arcane University. I want to place 3 monasteries around Skyrim and when you have completed the quests of each one you get access to a secret fourth one, where you can climb up the faction ladder further.
