I like this armor, it looks and feels like it incorporates existing elements of other Nordic-style armors, while also being its own thing. The curved horns remind me of the Male Ancient Nord Helmet. The pauldrons take elements of the male and female Ancient Nord sets, but the shape also reminds me of the Steel Plate's own pauldrons. The leather and fur around the waist and legs seems to take inspiration from the studded and scaled armor.
Overall this set just embodies Skyrim's Nord aesthetics wonderfully. Looking forward to seeing the finished set and the next set of armour or the next weapon that is planned. Perhaps some Imperial, Wood Elven or Orcish Armor? Orcish would be especially good to see.
@Deadman1998 True the Orcs could definitely use some unique looking armour sets. A lot of the existing Orc modded sets look to be mashups or modifications of existing armour sets. But nothing as wholly original, like the Lunar Guard and Moon Monk Robes for Khajiit. The Wild Hunt/Bosmeri Armors found as standalone or as part of Immersive Armors. And 4th's Ancient Argonian set or the Shadowscale set for Argonians.
Orcs do feel like they could use some more Armour sets to spice up their apparel.
