About this image

A few more shots of Snowhawk, now with a way leading up there from the road.

The idea for Snowhawk is that it is a mining town, not run by a thane, but some local merchants guild. That's my explanation why it ceased to be a hold capital. Similiar to some nobles and clergy in the holy roman empire having to give up on cities inside their territory, because the citizenry would take direct control. I chose Solitude architecture to make it also look more imperialized according to it's mercantile character, so it stands out from villages like Stonehills, Morthal and Lainalten in the region.

Thinking about expanding the place up the mountain to reflect it's former hold capital status.

Yeah, definitely support the idea of the place showing it's "former glory" as a former capital hold.

Like others said, I love how your settlements, especially your newer stuff. actually, shows its place in the world (and not just random settlements) and how each has its own lore and how they connect to the world.

I'm currently slashing and shooting my way through your Neugrad mod, with frequent stops to the other villages you've added to Whiterun and Falkreath and all I can say is moooore please! Your attention to detail, world building, and "vanilla-esque" quests make them a delight every time I trip over one I forgot I'd installed. :)
