Quick question, mate. I download ALL of your stuff and this won't likely be an exception, but if I use Guard Armor Replacer SSE will this do anything for me at all other than Falskaar guard armor and Helgen guard armor?

      Thanks!

This mod will also include the stormcloaks officer set and the CC stormbear set. So it could still be useful for those? Thankfully guard armor replacer uses 100% unique meshes and texture paths. So you’ll be able to install everything without having to worry about compatibility issues

My dude you are the BEST. I'll install it just for the Storm-Bear set, it looks like s#*! in vanilla. But Stormcloak officer is replaced by Immersive Armors so I won't be getting that benefit either. In any case, I just realized other mods use those textures anyway (Like Immersive Armors for example) for other sets. Regardless mate, looks fantastic, keep up the incredible work!!!

thanks! I also plan to update my Immersive armors retexture, after I am done with all Vanilla and CC retextures. I'll most likely redo my heroic stormcloak retexture and add new retextures for IA's Stormlord and Snow bear sets

Amazing, as always! I still can't believe how good your works are. Could be a good idea to also add an option that gives gloves to every guard in Skyrim, since many holds - for some reason - don't have them (for example Whiterun, Winterhold...)!

Is there any way to increase the differentiation between Eastmarch and Falkreath? The colorrs look quite similar. Perhaps some kind of emblem like you've done with Helgen Reborn?

I’m trying to stay away from the emblems. For 2 reasons.
      1. Many mods reuse vanilla guard armors for new cities (ie falskaar reusing the markarth guard armor for Amber creek)
      2. If I added emblems, I would want them to look like embroidery and have thickness but all these sets share the same 3 normal maps (leather shirt, Scaled shirt and scaled shirt with metal highlights) so it would be impossible.

I only kept the helgen emblem because the original version has it.

but thankfully, the falkreath and riften versions look a lot less similar in-game. The screenshots here aren’t doing the best job at showcasing that

It's insane that you've just been on an absolute crusade retexturing all the armor and weapons in the game. I still can't believe that Iron and Steel retextures were in February cause it feels like it's been only 3 months since then lol

Quick question, if you just want to use the Falskaar or Helgen Reborn, do you have to install the full mod? Asking since I prefer to use Guards Armor Replacer.

Helgen reborn is self-contained, as in it has its own texture paths for the normal map and diffuse. So that one can easily be installed on its own.

falskaar and midwood isles use the vanilla texture paths for the normal map and both mods reuse some vanilla diffuse texture paths for some of their guards. Like falskaar uses the markarth and winterhold guards textures but simply renames them. Midwood does the same with the whiterun textures.

so it gets a bit tricky because of that, for falskaar and midwood.

though guard armor replacer uses 100% unique texture and meshes folder structure. So my mod won’t override anything from it, no matter the load order

As your mods keep showing up, I'm realising now just how many vanilla armour sets there is in Skyrim. Kind of incredible. Thank you for all your beautiful retextures.
