I'm curious, now that you've finished the Sons of Skyrim collection, do you have any other projects you're planning? Any chance you can give us a hint what you might be working on next?
It looks awesome. My only critique is that I think this armor should be flashier/stand out more than the Whiterun's Guards Armors since Solitude is the Capital, such as being gilded or having capes/cloaks too.
I'm guessing because guards of solitude is the Skyrim's highest military force that stands besides the imperial legion, there armour will be a lot more uniform and militaristic. you know practicality over flashiness.
The plates are laced on from the bottom, but riveted at the top, and the plates are angeled that way to make it harder to thrust a blade against the grain of the plate pattern, which is why the lower portion of the armor has plates that DO go that way
