Advanced new ReShade features which allow effects to be rendered at different points in the frame, allowing for new high quality shaders. In this example, GloomAO is rendered before transparency effects. Even now, it's a powerful alternative to ENB's AO.
It seems to take away a lot of fogginess that ENB has and offers a lot of clarity. I may have to wait to see if Reshade can ever enhance the visuals as much as ENBs though.
@skahren23 It can. If tweaked correctly, it can make the game (especially now that it can be rendered under the UI) even look better than ENBs because ENB supports a limited category of shaders. Also ENBs are more performance intensive.
