Lucien Flavius - Sound Test


This is one branch of the initial conversation from my upcoming follower mod "Lucien Flavius". I'm uploading here to get a feel for the volume/sound quality, etc. to avoid having to re-record things if there's anything wrong! 

Also, please let me know if you guys have any thoughts/requests/suggestions for things you'd like to see in a follower mod. It's still fairly early stages, and I'd love to implement whatever I can :)

      I figured Inigo, Kaidan and Benjamin Doon could use some backup
      Also, I lack the biological equipment to do a female voice, so there was never really any question XD

    The voice is really clear and good volume
    Fits him as well. I'd like interactions with existing npc's. Maybe not all but the main ones like Ulfric perhaps. Or at the very least comments about them.

      Thanks, that's just what I wanted to know! Some people have better ears for that sort of thing and it's always good to get a second opinion.
      That I can definitely do. I'm splicing together lines from existing NPCs to make new conversations - so far he'll chatter to Lydia, Delphine and Esbern.

      Oh, it sounds like he says "That was my intention" instead of "Wasn't my intention"

      Yep! I'm slightly altering pitches and piecing together dialogue you're unlikely to hear at the same to try and stop it sounding obviously recycled XD Bowmorelover's Lazy Voice Finder is an absolute godsend!

      EDIT: Ah, good shout! I'll tweak that one a little.

      I used that yesterday as well, made a custom shout/battlecry for my follower, but I didn't manage to alter the voice, not that I needed to though cause I wanted it to fit.

      That was the only thing I found at least. Sounds really good other than that little detail =D

      Oh cool! I use Cubase to put the lines together, which is working pretty well so far. Just wish Max von Sydow wouldn't mumble so much or I'd have a lot more to work with XD

      It's the sound editing software that came with my microphone. You have to pay for the full version, but they do a 30-day free trial which'd probably do the trick if you had any small jobs to do - though you need a "USB e-Licenser", whatever that is!

      Yeah no idea what that is. I used Audacity for that shout but I was so lucky that Legate Rikke said that line so good that I barely had to do any work on the sound at all haha.

      This all makes me wanna do quest mods now

    He looks very eloquent,i would like to see an well spoken ,satire ,morbid humour follower...sommeone with no police over its thoughts.In Combat archer and healing pc and group capbility(to play in legendary mode),muffle (mandatory),exentric clothes or armor and hairstyle.

      Ooh, that's quite a specific shopping list XD By default, he's a spellsword, but once you get to know him a little, he'll ask you if you'll train him. Then you can gradually increase his stats as you like and teach him spells to use, so you could make him like that if you want!
