About this image
I added some details to her face to make it looks more realistic and less flat: Some very trasparent freckles just to give her face a bit of textures (Since she doesn't have natural freckles) and I made her cheeks and nose a bit more red to reflect the blood going in side like in real life, giving a more realistic look. Although this ENB is not that great for taking character screenshots

Everything you've said sounds fine to me when it comes to making a character look more realistic, but don't forget that a skin texture mod is just as or more important than a mod that adds facial makeup.
If you look around here on Nexus, you'll find some beautiful realistic skin texture mods, as long as you don't mind your character's appearance looking a bit mature.
If you have created other characters... why wouldn't you show them to the community?
If you are afraid to upload them, because you think other users will not like them, that's irrelevant, there will always be people who will criticize your work, no matter if you are an experienced face sculptor or just a novice in that matter. The first and most important thing is that you like the characters you have created, leave your doubts aside, there will always be someone who knows how to appreciate your talent.
Well, about the other characters, well, it's exactly what you said said, by being a bit introverted I put a bit of pressure on myself and what I make/do (including skyrim characters) This is the reason I am a bit shy to show my other characters, but I will show them in the near future
Thanks Bacetrica, you're the boss
