Not much is known of the Dragonborn, but what we do know is that he first came into the publics eye when he was seen fighting a dragon at Helgen. Rumor has it that the Imperials were about to execute some people when the Dragonborn burst through the gates, chasing a dragon who wanted nothing to do with him. After a verbal debate the Dragonborn made the dragon land and they started fighting. Apparently he had started by cutting it's wings off and then proceeded to smash it in the head with his shield until it lay dead. After that was done he left and the execution proceeded without further delays. A few days later he was spotted in Solitude stopping Roggvir's execution, and while at it he brought Roggvir to Windhelm. The Dragonborn isn't welcome in Solitude since then. Some time after that he ended up in Whiterun and after he had found Jarl Balgruuf's boots in Belethor's store he became the Thane of Whiterun and got his very own housecarl. No, he did not get Lydia. He got someone else. Who you ask, if not Lydia? Well, you see instead of Lydia he got Celia the Kettle-Maiden, Jarl Balgruuf's second most trusted housecarl after Irileth. He does not like her and she does not like him but they are stuck together until the dragons are gone from Skyrim. He has tried to make her put on some nicer armor but she outright refuses. That makes the Dragonborn very sad and he also has a dent in his helmet since he tried the first time.
