    This looks awesome, looking forward to it!

    For the improvement recipe: While I could propose a recipe to use, I think I have a quite unique suggestion, that would make sense lore-wise.

    The Gray Cowl is directly linked to Nocturnal, and is a daedric artifact. Imho, it wouldn't make much sense to improve a daedric artifact at a mundane forge - instead, I suggest that the armor gets stronger the stronger the wearer's tie is to Nocturnal.

    A potential idea is that the armor gets stronger if you return the skeleton key in the Thieves Guld questline, and gets an additional boost the more you steal.

    Concretely, this could be implemented via a perk: you set multiple "perk effects" to "Mod Armor Rating". And for each, you set as condition that the player is wearing the full Gray Fox set. Then, you add other conditions for the boosts. For instance, has the player completed the "Return Skeleton Key Quest" using the "GetStage" condition. How much the player has stolen can be taken from the game's statistics. So, you could add some perk effects like

    0 <= IsStatistics(TheftOrPickpocket) < X  --> no boost
    X  <= IsStatistics(TheftOrPickpocket) < Y  --> slight boost
    Y <= IsStatistics(TheftOrPickpocket)  <Z  --> stronger boost

    I hope I could explain this well. I hope you like the suggestion! If you want to implement it and need help, you can PM me and I can help you ;)
