The sun rises over the Velothi Mountains to the delight of one Vakka-Kresh (Stands-In-Daylight). Much to Isran's dismay, Stands-In-Daylight occupies an hour (at least) between morning training and midday daedra hunts to stand atop the fortress and gaze at the rising sun. Given his profession, most attribute the name to metaphor when in fact it's meaning is quite literal. Stands-In-Daylight revels in the wonders of sunny days and always has; the name graced upon him by the Hist could truly have been given by any party to have known him, though it would not ring any less truthful. Although, one would be a mistaken to equate this temporary respite for ineptitude or laziness. The fresh air and tranquility alone is his reason to fight, and he is prepared to lose life and limb to protect it for himself and others... just after he's had his fill of enjoyment for the day. What's the good in fighting after all if you don't recognize what it's for?
