About this image
I've started playing around with adding physics to the vanilla hairstyles. Turns out those models are unsuitable for that, being mostly a single sheet, so I remade a similar hairstyle from scratch to serve as a replacer.
I've been trying to find a reasonable balance between quality and performance. The vertex count is about twice that of vanilla, half that of High Poly Vanilla Hair. The physics system is about as light as they come. Just like the original hair was made to run on just about any PC in 2011, this should run on just about any PC in 2022.
I'll try a couple more before sharing them.

Edit: Didnt know you were the creator of believable weapons. My absolute go to mod for vanilla weapon mesh replacers, along with artefake.
Human skin texture has been complicated - resolved, within Skyrim as well, the nice female walk - resolved. And when it's about the hair - 10 times harder. But resolvable, sooner or later.
Agree with having to make it as a 3D model as the vanilla hairs do look quite flat.
As long as you dont go crazy with subdividing the meshes in Blender and use Faster SMP HDT (more updated, stable, better performance, has an installer where you can even configure which AVX method to use depending on CPU and it replaces the original mod) should be fine.
Are you gonna make all vanilla hairs? Because if you do, then I am gonna have to ask you to marry me xD
Jokes aside, this is really nice! Looks good and vanilla like. Will that affect the player only? And in that case could we maybe have the static ones as vanilla replacers for npcs?
Amazing work, can't wait to see more!
