I love the fiery action scenes against the bandits and the this LUT makes the glow of the candles in this shot spectacular. Nice work

Always fun to try a few action captures! I need to be on my toes though since these are actual gameplay sessions and I can't risk dying for a screen capture. It might end up badly for both my character and the followers as I play with a mod that makes death permanent for them...

Light sources and fire in general looks very warm and nice with this LUT. I know it's not your favorite as you've told me this before, but I do like to jump around with the many LUT options and in this case those standing candelabras got a perfect match with Homestead LUT. That's one of the main reasons I insist on using LUTs that might not appear ideal. They always bring you at least something good in return.

      Thanks a lot, Dylan!

I do want to stress that just because they aren't my favorite doesn't mean I don't support you doing them lol. You should always be taking screenshots for your own interests. But even if the more extreme LUTs aren't my favorite, I do agree with your point that they sometimes really highlight something that would otherwise be mundane. So although image sets with them aren't my favorite, some of the individual shots you've found with LUTs like this are my favorite of yours.

I hear you, Dylan and I can promise you, I won't skip any of the LUTs I use for the sake om pleasing others. It is as you say, something we should do for ourselves firstly and I've been doing so ever since my very first screen capture. I like the changes and the challenges it gives me and I'm pretty sure the variety of colour palettes and contrasts will help me develop even more as a screenarcher. At least I feel it does and that's a good cause if any...

Great serie Rick,..  I do love your Adariel character,.. fierce Lady , but, peacefull in nature ( it's the flowers in her hair that makes me think that, but also her expression is peacefull. She runs with a great team so it seems., She can easily level up that way

Thank you very much! I still have lots of sets to show even if I'm sometimes absent here on Nexus. I've decided to try and give my writing a chance again, so I've been at it for the last 2-3 weeks. Two chapters in with a new story so far and funny thing is it could just as well act out as a prequel to another one of my novel projects...if I ever get there.

Adariel is one of my more kind souls, a very calm and understanding high elf mage with lots of confidence, wisdom and social skills. She prefers to solve things with diplomacy or conversations, but since she's an elf, she's also a competent archer even if she fully shines in the arts of magic (fire spells and Restoration magic). I'll see for how long she keeps the flowers in her hair. I'm thinking about implementing an idea I've had for a while now that means changing armors/outfits more frequently. It makes sense to me and it also gives me more variety among the characters depending on the in-game season and such. Haven't decided if I will use this idea yet though.

The team has been succesful so far - cleaning out Shroud Hearth Barrow, Lost Knife Hideout and Fort Amol. That's a pretty good job for a low-leveled group of adventurers. Adariel is only level 8 at this point, but she will rise beyond that for sure...

Thanks a lot, Courtney! I've been somewhat absent for a while, so I only did the ninja endorsing thing on your latest sets, because I had quite a bunch of notifications. Congrats on the release of your female overhaul by the way!

      Thank you very much!

Skyrim is always a new adventure, a new story chapter or a new road to travel. It's funny the game is almost ten years old now and yet every start feels as fresh as if it was brand new. It's thanks to the many mods of course, the visual overhauls and our many characters we play, but it's still interesting to observe just how much fun it brings yet to this day...

      Thanks a lot, my friend!

To be honest, this LUT is sometimes difficult to use inside caves and ruins. It's so warm and "welcoming" it puts the dark dread away!

Next set with Adariel will change that quite a lot as I'm using another LUT when visiting Fort Amol, just across the road from Lost Knife Hideout. Stay tuned!

It's certainly different and perhaps a tad too bright for darker places, but it does bring out some nice details and truly lets any source of fire shine warmly. Quite a cosy LUT infact, kind of Christmas-y if that's a thing in LUTs...

Many thanks! I've got one more set with Adariel and her friends, but there I've switched to a much more dramatic LUT...
