I can even imagine how much work you put into this...
After spending 4 days devouring souls in Sovngarde, it couldn't be so easy to defeat an Alduin who had become stronger than ever, when they couldn't even dent him the first time.
And of course, there was the matter with Dragonrend, which I figured a while ago, even before the timeskip in fact, that it would not work on Alduin a second time, both because he has become much more powerful since the fight on the throat of the world, but also because, well, words loose meaning when you repeat them, and even words that tell about concepts completely alien to dragons cannot be alien forever to them; Alduin was hit by the shock of these, but it really didn't affect him much, Agnir's attack and fus ro dah were much more effective at crashing him.
And of course, it is the final battle, it HAS to be EPIC !
And yeah, it was a awful lot of work, especially with Alduin and Gormlaith who were basically competing to see who would lead me to insanity the first, and that's why I'm going to take a break before starting working on the next one, because there will be a lot of scenery and preparation to do too.
(That's also why I take some time to answer the comments: either it's because I am working on something else and I'm too focused or lazy to answer, or after posting, and because it was a lot of work in a short time, I take a break)
Great twist int the end!!! I was so excited to see Agnir's transformation and the cause being...Love! Excellent!!!!
And the whole set of images was beauuuutifully illustrated!
I loved all the captures but especially this, this and this! Great angles and perspective!
Fantastic job and i am eager for the continuation!
And for Agnir's transformation, it's more than love, love was just the trigger, how his love for Ashildr led him to sacrifice himself for her, and how everything then converged at one point, like a singularity, leading him to transcend everything.
I really struggled with the choice of picture to put at the front, I find those from the second part of the chapter to be the greatest, but of course I couldn't use them: I didn't want to get you and anyone to figure anything before reading ! I also love those with Agnir on Alduin's back, and his silhouette detaching from the sky, with the light reflecting on the metal of his armor, but it was also an important plot point of the chapter so I settled for something else
The final form of Agnir are truly amazing.
Great job!
