Depends on my free time and motivation. I hadn't really worked on Falkreath for a few weeks and then created the inn in an afternoon lol. I'm also aiming for higher quality for this last COTN installment so it's likely to take a bit more time than the others for this reason (that and the fact I'm working on other mods as well). But definitely this year, I'd this summer if I had to guess

Thanks for the answer, really looking forward to it :) Obviously everyone would like to have it sooner rather than later, but i'm willing to wait patiently knowing the kind of quality you deliver. Also, creating the entire inn in an afternoon is very impressive!

Thanks for blessing us with these images to drool over jp! Everything looks fantastic; I like how these buildings retain the vanilla farmhouse feel, but with a little more panache. Question for ya: I can make out some wizkid farmhouse textures, but are the rest custom? That wood reminds me of noble.

Looks very nice! I can see a blend of Imperial and Nordic influences, which makes sense given Falkreath is so near to the border. Looking forward to this being released

I think some of those white rocks might be too white? Maybe they'd blend into vanilla better if they were more of a light grey? What do you guys think?

Loving that wooden house though. I hope we can go through a load door at the bottom of that rock wall entrance that lets us stand at the top of those guard towers, would be a nice touch :)

Awesome work as always, looking forward to this final installment in your series!

      I think it's Wizkid's farmhouse retexture

I don't think the COTN mods usually uses its own textures, they use whatever you have installed for other towns, so the color will be different for different players and you'll be able to change it yourself according to your tastes.

      Thanks for the support !
What carpenihil said is right, I'm no texture artist and I make use of the vanilla textures through vanilla paths, which means the aspect of the buildings will depend on whatever textures overhauls you're using right now. In these shots the stone is from WizKid's farmhouse as mentionned by emfearlesshart.
The towers will have interiors and you'll be able to stand at the top and walk over the gate as well.

    Looks fantastic!

Are you sticking to solely replicating existing housing structures, or are you going to expand a little bit here and there? Because I always thought that there should be a proper temple to Arkay in Falkreath but I haven't been able to find a mod that does so properly.

this please falkreath is a sad sad place compared to other towns. not saying make it huge but maybe address the graveyard  , then add a couple npc homes and stuff just to make it look like a real place. but even if its onlya reskin ill try it out cause it looks a ton better.

I mean, the big guard towers in this image definitely weren't in Falkreath before, so there'll be at least some additions.

Sure, but those are mostly cosmetic changes. Technically according to dialogue it would be considered a shrine, but a proper Hall of the Dead crossed with a more substantial Shrine to Arkay would much be better than the sad, one-room shack with a standard Arkay altar in the corner.

EDIT: What I'd really like to see is if the Arkay statue from ESO can be extracted and added to the shrine. Give it something a little more substantial than the standard altar.

I'm sticking to only replacing the existing buildings. I don't want to start a massive overhaul I would struggle to finish, so I stay faithful to the COTN formula to ensure a timely release. An expansion for the 4 cities I overhauled is definitely something I'm thinking about, but it will be done in a seconde phase when all the 3d assets will have been created and I'll be able to focus on implementation. Such a project would be kind of a "complete edition" of COTN and uploaded separately

EDIT : concerning the extraction of ESO meshes, it's not that easy to do (I've tried) and I wouldn't be allowed to publish the mod as of Zenimax/Bethesda's terms of service
