Introduction
By default, the Quiver is only visible when it's equipped. But what if you wanted to display it regardless of that condition?
In the next steps, I'll show you how.
What do you need:
- Immersive Equipment Displays and its requirements.
How to use IED (for the purpose of this tutorial)
First, go to "View>Display Manager", then to "Custom items" section and select where to apply (Global, Actors, etc...):

Create a new display for the Quiver:

Expand the new item and toggle "Last equipped":

Click on the arrows next to "Conditions" and add a new one for "Type>Ammo":

Click on "Ammo", and only check "This":

Now, select the "Biped slot" for the "Quiver" and uncheck everything under it:

Check the options "Equipment mode" and "Disable if equipped". This will disable the custom display when the quiver is equipped, so it can be managed via "Gear positioning".

Finally, select the same node as in "Gear positioning" for the quiver.

FINAL RESULT:

But what about Bolts?
By default, they'll use the same node as the arrows. If you have separated the arrows from bolts, in the current version (1.6.3) there's no automatic way to distinguish bolts from arrows. Some "Is bolt" conditions are not available. But you can try to condition the display to separate bolt from arrows by manually assigning the bolts with the "Form" condition.

It shows up as it should with the quiver equipped, but unequipping it (with it favorited) doesn't display the quiver.
I don't have any other settings or overrides active, and I'm fairly certain I don't have any mods affecting the quiver. Unless Archery Gameplay Overhaul has an effect on it, I'm scratching my head here.
Any insight or help would be appreciated.
edit: No, this work fine as hell, the problem was me (i just click on "Armor" insted "Ammo" sksksk english is not my first idiome as u can notice sksksk)
Thanks for this amazing tutorial <3
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You'll have to recreate the config too.
I'll might update this tutorial when a new version of IED is uploaded here.
The newest version changed the location (and name) of the menu entry.
Older versions used "Gear positioning".
The latest version of IED on Nexus doesn't have that option in "Presence".
In the arrow display, use this condition instead of the condition "Presence" with "Is Bolt":
For the Bolt Quiver display, do the same but without toggling the checkbox on the left.
When the latest version of IED is released on Nexus, you can use this article again.
