• Install the mod as you would any other; Load order does not matter, as the patcher will run on your entire (active) load order, so when in doubt, put this as early as you like.  It only adds new spells, so it will not conflict. Many mods state they should be last.  Sure, let them; there's no reason for this mod to be "after" any other mod.
  • This mod includes a Mutagen patcher; run it.  I prefer to use Synthesis, as I use several mods with similar patchers, and even that with standing, Synthesis makes running Mutagen patchers (such as this one) very friendly with a nice UI.
  • If you don't use Synthesis, skip to step #10
  • If you use Synthesis, put this patcher in it's own "group", by:
  • Adding a new group, but clicking on the icon hightlighted in red:
  • After clicking the Group button, you'll need to name the new group, using the big box underlined in green. You MUST name the group exactly, as "Pact Weapon Redone - Extended - Patched Spells". If you've done this correctly, your group list will look as the one above.
  • Next, click the button, circled in pink (above), to add a "local solution" patcher (the one provided by this mod).  Upon doing so, you'll see the screen below.  Start by selecting "Existing" at the top of the screen, and then set the "Solution Path" to be your local path to the "Pact Weapon - Expanded.sln" file, included in this mod. (You can leave "Open IDE After Creating" disabled.  You won't be doing anything in the code).  I have found that I need to click itno the 'Patcher Projects' text area in order for the check-mark on the bottom right to enable.  Once it's enabled, click that to continue.
  • If the instructions have been followed, your screen should now look like this:
  • Run the patcher(s)
  • If you run the Mutagen patch directly, the output *.esp must be named exactly as "Pact Weapon Redone - Extended - Patched Spells.esp".  You may manually rename whatever the output is to match the expected name.  If using Synthesis, steps 5 thru 9 will have done this for you.
  • Active the mod; If using MO2, the standard activation process (checking the box in the 'Plugins' list) is sufficient.  If not using MO2, you must ensure the "Pact Weapon Redone - Extended - Patched Spells.esp" AND the generated "Pact Weapon Redone - Extended - Patched Spells.json" are installed/activated (depending on your tool of chocie); [As of 1.3.0, Mutagen without synthesis should automatically name the output correctly, as well]
  • ENJOY!
