General speaking, the objective of the Naked Outfit is unequip or hide some of the equipped items to show the naked body.
Come with some items each one made for one specific slot starting for the slot 32 (body).
BUT WARNING: The Naked Outfit is mostly experimental and is not recommend to strip the actor. To strip the actor, use the Empty Outfit with the Strip Slot options instead...
This probably sounds confusing and for many users will be confusing even after read the full article!
The real objective of the Naked Outfit is add the Naked Slot Items to the actor inventory.
By other side the Naked Slot Items are mostly made to hide just part of the dress or armor without unequip it. Is mostly experimental and some conditions must be filled to be effective, but the effects are very interesting.
For example assuming you have a dress or armor equipped and that dress come with Skirt, Panties and Bra, usually you can't remove any of those parts because they are just one item on the Slot 32 (Body). But is not impossible if the Skirt, Panty and Bra have his own Partition (Slot) on the NIF file.
This means you can use the Naked Slot Items to hide those Partitions (Slots).
Usually the Dress and Armor's come with only one Partition defined on the NIF file but anyone can split or join the partitions using the BodySlide and asinine one of those Partitions to a specific slot. Of course aside the partition on the NIF also the ArmorAddon should include the new slot otherwise the partition won't be showed even without the Naked Slot Items.
By other side if the Armor or ArmorAddon have the slot defined but the same slot is not defined on the NIF file Partitions, once equipped this Armor will unequip any item using the same slot and in the same way any item with the same slot once equipped will unequip the Armor of this case.
Finally the Naked Slot Items on the inventory should be harmless by themselves, because have low priority a usually don't get equipped unless something force it or the slot be empty. But just for the doubt's better keep them away from the NPC's inventory until you be sure of when and how use it. I recommend test them with the player to know the effects over each dress or armor before try it on the NPC's.
Outfit Manager come with one new option that hide or show the Naked Slot Items on the actor inventory window. But just hide and show them, that means that will stay on the inventory once be manually added and until be manually removed.
