Skyrim Special Edition

Not all mods listed here are available for all platforms. MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) requires SkyUI. Before using a compatibility patch, make sure it supports the latest version of both mods to avoid issues.

Features

Releases:

  • Skyrim VR: Compatible.

Creations:
  • Arcane Accessories: Compatible.

Mods:
  • Adamant - A Perk Overhaul: Partially compatible. This is not a recommended combination because Adamant requires Mysticism and Mysticism overlaps strongly with Odin.
  • Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim: Compatible. There is functional overlap between the newly added spells in Apocalypse and Odin, but Odin will detect the presence of Apocalypse on first load and will not add any duplicate or overlapping spells to the game, giving priority to the Apocalypse versions instead. This only works if both mods are installed simultaneously or Apocalypse is installed first.
  • Arcanum: Compatible.
  • Clean Up Your Corpses: Mostly compatible. Clean Up Your Corpses greatly increases the Magicka cost of certain spells, due to what appears to be a bug with Clean Up Your Corpses. Load Odin below it to prevent this.
  • Colorful Magic: Compatible.
  • Convenient Horses: Mostly compatible. Convenient Horses dispels all spells from a horse when you mount it, preventing the Haste Mount spell from working.
  • Elemental Destruction Magic: Compatible.
  • Forgotten Magic Redone: Compatible.
  • Immersive Movement: Mostly compatible. Immersive Movement contains a bug that makes custom mounts such as Conjure Kyrkrim unable to steer.
  • Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul: Partially compatible. The vanilla spell changes in both mods will overlap, load the mod whose changes you prefer below the other. There will be some degree of functional overlap between the newly added spells in Mysticism and Odin.
  • Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim: Compatibility patch available on the Ordinator mod page (SSE).
  • Phenderix Magic Evolved: Compatible.
  • Phenderix Magic World: Compatible..
  • Spell Research: Third party compatibility patch available (SSE).
  • Triumvirate - Magic Archetypes: Compatible.
  • Unofficial Skyrim Special/Legendary Edition Patch (USSEP/USLEEP): Compatible. Note that Odin does not include USSEP/USLEEP changes that are counterproductive (adding "that spell looks dangerous" to Storm Thrall after Odin removes it from all permanent minions because it is bugged and never goes away; removing the frost keywords from the self cast component of Blizzard while Odin flags it as ignoring resistances which is a better fix), not a bug (USSEP/USLEEP disables slow effects on dragons for some reason) or irrelevant (description changes when Odin also changes the description).
  • Vokrii - Minimalistic Perks of Skyrim: Compatibility patch available on the Vokrii mod page (SSE). The patch adds new perks in order to fully support all Odin features.

Compatibility with other mods

  • Odin is compatible with other spell mods that add new spells.
  • Mods that modify vanilla spells may not be compatible.

Which perks effect the spells from ordinator? most of the illusion perks say they only effect fear rally calm and frenzy.

Any chance to add compatibility with Better Master Spells or Faster Master Spells? Or reduce cast time in the mod itself maybe?

Same as Ordinator. Will require a patch to make it work with the newly added spells from Odin (perk integration etc.). I don't think it would cause any real issues ingame but I can't tell if the consistency would be great.

I have Path of Sorcery.  For now, should it be fine as long as I just don't use the new spells added by Odin?

Well, looking at the records in xEdit, Path of Sorcery has a lot of conflicts with Odin. PoS is a magic tree perk overhaul but it does change vanilla spells to work with its perk tree changes.

There is a mod called Path of Ordinance that does an amazing job making PoS and Ordinator work together, but with Odin being so new, there is no patch to make PoS, Ordinator and Odin work together.

If anyone is interested in making this patch (Path of Ordinanace also being a requirement), then let me know and we can get it out.

Pm me, I read my messages.

I'm looking for it as well. Can't find any mention of it anywhere right now, so bumping for hope to bring attention to it.

Definitely need a patch for this. I cant live without POS on my mage, but Odin looks amazing... Manual patching looks like the only way for now.. Thank you for your great work!

I imagine so. You'd just need to run reproccer after installing.

Is this mod compatible with Perkus Maximus ? From what I'm reading, it seems to change the vanilla spell so I'd like to know before downloading it.

Just a heads up for anyone using Nether's Follower Framework, the nwsFF_NoTeamMagicDamage.esp plugin seems to really mess with Odin's destruction spells. I recommend just disabling it.

as in - it needs to be patched? - when "No team damage" changes the conditions of the spells, it changes the core spell back to vanilla - a patch can merge the conditions with the new spell details - I did it for Mysticism quite easily.
It definitely fits with "Mods that modify vanilla spells may not be compatible"

Is it compatible with Vokriinator? Not Plus or Black since those need Adamant. Just normal Vokriinator (Vokrii + Ordinator)

How so? They don't overwrite any files from SOS even if you extract the BSA.

s#*!, spell research doesint work with it in skyrim legendary edtion, that suuuuucks. i wanted to research spells, which is really the crux of how the mod works, it disables vendors selling spells and tomes so if you want to do a playthrough where you have to work out the spells yourself, you can. i dont see how path of research conflicts if the mod goes off of most if not all vanilla spells ans some spell packs.
