Skyrim Special Edition

1. Start SSEEdit, load the Mod you want to create a Patch for.
2. Locate the .esp of the Mod. (In this Case RoM)

3. Unfold it and locate the Ammunition Tab

4. Right-klick on Ammunition and choose "Deep copy as override into..."

5. A Warning will pop up, asking you, if you're sure. Wait until the Timer runs out and pick "Yes I'm absolutely sure"

6. A Window will open with all loaded .esp to choose from. Scroll down until you reach <new file>.esp. Pick the one that is already marked as ESL.

7. A Window will pop up, asking you to name the new .esp. Name it so that you can recognize it, like: "NGSTTK_RoM_Patch" or "RoM_Arrow_Patch" or "RoM_Arrow_Damage". Every Name is fine as long as you don't ask yourself in 2 Weeks what that .esp was for,
8. Locate and unfold the new .esp at the Bottom of the left Sidebar. Unfold the Ammunition-Tab. The Color may vary depending on which .esp are loaded before it.

9. Click on the first Entry below Ammunition and switch to the right Side of SSEEdit.
10. Locate the Damage Value in your newly created .esp. Click on it  and change it to 25% of the original Value (=Original Value/4). If the new Value includes a Decimal, use a Dot  between the Integer and the Decimal (so 14/4=3.5 AND NOT 3,5. I'm looking at you, fellow Germans!)

11. Repeat for every Entry of the Ammunition Tab.
12. Save your .esp and add it to your Load Order after the Mod you created a Patch for.

Additional and OPTIONAL Informations for MO2-Users:
The following Steps are not required, the Patch can stay in the Override Folder without any Problems.
The new .esp is in the Override Folder at the Bottom of the left Side of MO2 (as long as you didn't changed the Output Folder of SSEEdit)

If you want to install the new .esp like a normal Mod, you need to create a Data Folder somewhere (lets say on your Desktop) and put the new .esp in there. Compress the Data Folder using something like WinRar or 7zip. Rename the new .rar, .7z or .zip to match the Name of your .esp and install it like a normal Mod.

Really late on asking this, but this method is how to also make a master patch to choose what overrides everything else in mods right? By this I mean in an example we have two different mods that affect the same object in game, and we need to choose which one wins out. You would copy the value of the one that you want to override and win out into the master patch, right? I'm trying to figure a way to do the patching before starting a new game with mods..
