Compatible and Incompatible Mods



1. Full List of the Compatibility Patches Available for Download (A-Z)


Alternate Start - Live Another Life by Arthmoor
Note: You can avoid using this patch if you're starting your adventure by choosing neither "I am Stormcloak" or "Imperial soldier" options.

Art of Magicka by Zonzai
Note: This patch adjusts the position of 3 new crafting stations added by this
mod. You may use Jaxonz Positoner or Cobb Positioner to adjust their
positions instead of installing this patch.

Cutting Room Floor by Arthmoor
Note: CRF restores Castle Dour Tower and turns it into a home for an unused NPC named Captain Metillus. My mod also gives back the same tower, but it is Player's home once he/she has been raised as Tribune in Imperial Legion or conquered Solitude as a Stormcloak soldier. By installing this
patch Metillus will no longer occupy the tower so you can win it as a prize for your military succession. Also, the patch for CRF includes everything from the USEEP patch so you don't need both.

Enhanced Lights and FX by anamorfus

Holds the City Overhaul by Galandil
[color=#ffffff]Note: Patch is compatible with Complete edition of the mod, 0.0.9.

[color=#00ff00]Holidays by Isoku
Note: In Holidays, there is a festival event to honor the famous 500.
This takes place inside Palace of the Kings, so the patch was needed. Ifyou don't plan to go to this festival, you may not need this patch.

Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul by Shurah
Note: Shurah gave me permission to create and publish this patch. This patch is compatible with the latest version, which is 0.3.5.1a.

Interestng NPCs by kristakahashi
Note: The Alpha version is availabe on kristakahashi's web site.
This patch also enables Nythriel, a high-elf woman in Blue Palace added by Interesting NPCs, to have a small bedroom designed for her.

Realistic Lighting Overhaul by The Realistic Lighting Team

Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - RDO SE by cloudedtruth
Note: You don't need this patch if you plan to load RDO before Palaces and Castles Enhanced.

Relighting Skyrim by NovakDalton

Skyrim Sewers 4 by Viltuska

Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch by Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch Team
Note: This patch just disables a floating banner in Palace of the Kings.
That's all I did in this patch. My mod already includes various changes and fixes from USEEP.

Note: Some mods in this list have not been ported to SSE and only available for original Skyrim.



A. Mods that Add New Objects/Items in Palaces (A-Z)

Cloaks of Skyrim - Fully Compatible

Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul - Fully Compatible

Faction Crossbows - Partly Compatible
Note: The crafting book for the custom crossbow may not be retrievable due to
the changes made to the Palace of the Kings and Castle Dour.

Gremlin's Fishy Things - Partly Compatible
Note: Some unique items are unobtainable due to the changes I made around Blue Palace.

Morrowloot and its variant mods - Partly Compatible
Note: Some unique items maybe unobtainable or oddly-placed in Dragonsreach,
Mistveil Keep, Blue Palace, Understone Keep, and Palace of the Kings.

Requiem - Unknown (Needs Info)

Skyrim Unique Treasures - Partly Compatible
Note: Some unique items maybe unobtainable or oddly-placed in Dragonsreach,
Mistveil Keep, Blue Palace, Understone Keep, and Palace of the Kings.




B. City Mods (A-Z)

Any city mods such as JK's Skyrim series, Dawn of Skyrim series, and so on are compatible with Palaces and Castles Enhanced.

Some city mods mentioned bellow however, modify the palaces and castles and thus are incompatible.

Riften - Thief Edition - Incompatible

Solitude - Capital Edition - Incompatible




3. Mods that Add NPCs to the World

"Populated" mods series by erkel and its continued versions here on Nexus - Partly compatible
Note: Due to the changes I made to Windhelm Barracks, any mods that add
prisoners in the cell blocks in Windhelm Barracks are not fully
compatible as the new prisoners will likely to be outside their cell
blocks.

Any follower mods that add followers in Dragonsreach, Blue Palace, etc. - Partly compatible
Note: I won't make any patches for follower mods to maintain the installation process simple.




4. Quest Mods (A-Z)

Amorous Adventures- Compatible
Note: I saw Shinji72, a YouTuber, playing around this mod along with Royal Blue Palace.

Blood of the Nord - Compatible


Civil War Neutrality - Compatible

Open Civil War - Compatible

Civil War Overhaul by Apollodown - Fully Compatible

Even Better Quests Objectives - Partly Compatible
Note: Please load Palaces and Castles Enhanced AFTER Even Better Quests Objectives. If you load them in the right order, there shouldn't be any compatibility issue.


Quest Markers for Barenziah Stones - Incompatible
Note: Palaces and Castles Enhanced edits the quest "No Stones Unturned". Any mods that edit the same quest will be incompatible.
I don't recommend any of the mods on Nexus that make Barenziah Stones traceable as every one of them is pretty old.
Alternatively, you can download "PCE Add-On: Marked and Droppable Barenziah Stones" that enables you to find those stones a lot easier and even allows you to drop them and store them in containers!

Thieves Guild Requirements - Fully Compatible

Mods to make Elisif dead, and make you a High King or make Erikur the Jarl of Solitude - Incompatible
Note: This mod is designed accordingly to Bethesda's plan to keep Elisif alive no matter or what.




5. Interior Overhaul Mods/Lighting Overhaul Mods (A-Z)

Audio Overhaul for Skyrim - Fully Compatible

Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - Partly Compatible





6. Other Mods

Appropriately Attired Jarls - Compatible But Shouldn't Be Used Together
Note: You don't need this mod as long as you have Palaces and Castles
Enhanced. My mod has the exact same feature but there is a difference
with what armor or clothing the new Jarl will choose to wear. For
example, Jarl Brunwulf will not wear Stormlord Armor from Immersive
Armors if you have Immersive Armors installed, and so on.

Snazzy Furniture and Paintings - Incompatible
Note: There will not be a patch for this mod for the time being. If you wish
to use Snazzy Furniture mod, make sure to turn off the esp and use its
meshes and textures only.

Any NPCs beautification mods - Fully Compatible
Note: This mod doesn't contain any changes to vanilla unique NPCs. Only some generic NPCs have been edited.
