Skyrim Special Edition

Various news sites have featured SkyTrek, always with a tagline of "it plays the game for you". This is absolutely incorrect.

The mod began solely as a horse autopilot - something attempted by others and believed to be impossible. I added a few extra features that other people might enjoy. I added an automated combat system to act in self-defense if the character is stopped on the road while traveling. Automated combat, as stated, is for "when necessary" usage. The mod cannot be used to complete dungeons or quests, farm items/money or level grind etc. This project is a technical achievement that took me months to create, release for free and will improve on. Don't judge the mod by a news article, friends!

Here is a list of the sites I am aware of that have featured the mod so far:

As a result of the news articles, there has been considerable (undeserved) backlash and negativity. There are a number of incidents where people have taken things too far or gone out of their way to be unkind to me personally. If you respect the modding community then read mod descriptions fully, be polite and understand that no matter what you feel towards a mod, someone's effort and free time went into making it. Thanks for reading.

    Hey Fish,

I hope I say this the right way as I sometimes am misinterpreted. I am trying to use your mod. I think it's great! That said, I am so sorry you felt the need to have to write this. I wish all the trolls and haters of great work, and shall I say "Art", would just go back to Oblivion where they belong. I am totally sure you work VERY hard to release this mod (and keep updating), to the overwhelmingly appreciative community.
I hope the negativity doesn't really get you down. Keep up the great work. And that goes out to ALL the modders out there.

Thank you, it just feels constant and yeah I did feel like I needed to address it. I am starting to regret releasing the mod at all.
