Thank you Denny I was thinking about your saying that you had tried the weather mods I mentioned and that your game stoppd working.. That is just weird. One weather mod to try maybe, if you feel like risking it, could be Rustic Weather and Lighting. From what I understand, it is quite lightweight. If ever I get tired of CoT and True Storms, I may give it a shot myself:
You are quite welcome. After your last experience, I really hope Rustic Weathers works out for you, Denny I tend to prefer a more naturalistic look, so it's the only one I'd use aside from the CoT/True Storms combo I have now.

The same author has also created Mythical Ages Weather: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11578/?
The first is more naturalistic and darker, while the second has more of a fantasy feel.
I installed the first cause I like the natural skyes, and it's really nice.
Later I will try the second link.
