This mod changes the way quick-swap hotkeys behave. Instead of having just two (left and right on the d-pad) you instead have 8, which you access by holding either left or right on the d-pad and pressing one of A, B, X, or Y. The only other change made to the controls is that now you must use your menu button (B by default) to exit the favorites menu, and you use L or R to put on gear in the favorites menu instead of your activate button (which was A by default).
