About this video

Hello Nexus,

Since several weeks i want to create a photo shoot. So it's done.
I hope you like. At the end of the video i record a little session of screenshot. It's not exceptionnal but maybe you could find it interesting :)
Videos are interesting to do. But i think i made them too quickly. Maybe i should spend more time to work on details.
As usual i would like to have better quality (on fps and smoothness). I have some technical limitations.

Thanks for watching

Utterly outstanding video, Marmotte....brilliantly high quality insights into your processes for producing images....a wonderful learning experience for me, thank you.

      Thanks Les.
This video is only a very small part of the process. there are a lot of more to show.
I'm glad if you find a learning experience.

Wonderful stuff Marmotte, I think I even saw something you did with the lens that I have to try out in the future. I also found if interesting that you where tweaking the sub surface scattering.

Since you where asking about better fps and smoothness, are you limiting the frames with enb and do you have a nvidia card? If yes, turn it off and get nvidia inspector and do it through that one. You will probably be able to run the game with a bit more smoothness that way, and there you can also set a few more things.

It can be a bit messy at first so you need some help with that one feel free to ask and I'll do a quick imgur gallery of how I have mine set.

Also what was the mod that let you adjust the expressions through the menus?

      Hi Raccoon,
first, i'm glad you find it interesting. The lens effect is a weapon for screenshots. Not enough used in my opinion. Some enb have very good lens effect. A source of light is necessary to work like a the sun, a lamp, fire or electricity.

Yes, i'm limiting the frames with the enb to 59 FPS with a nvidia gtx 680. But i rarely reach 60 fps: only in interiors.
But in my case i do not not need to limit, i need more!! hahaha And i think i can(t go further.
Before, i was using the nvidia inspector to overclocked my graphic card, but the result was not very positive.

However, i 'm ready to watch and read if you have some "Raccooning tips" Send me a link of your imgur. Thanks

I feel like you loose some fps by using the enb limiter, as it's not as light in that respect as inspector. My theory is that inspector does it in the driver, while enb has it's own internal limiter, but I could be entirely wrong on that point. It sure feels quicker.

I only use inspector to limit the fps, no OC cause I hate computer noise. My rig is air cooled and more silent then a laptop

The limiter setting is all you need, although I have the tripple buffering and vertical sync set as well. Since you are doing videos you should try setting the limiter to the framerate of the video, high fps only matters in videos if you can see it and if it stays constant, otherwise lower can be better as long as it's stable.

With the new version you access the settings through the nvidiaProfileInspector.exe

Make sure to disable the limiter in ENB.

Beautifull , well, it's not a set, so beautifull video with some great insights in ho you "work"
I really loved watching this video. You set up your shots and moving images in a way i would never think off. I think that's very cool,.. I can not detect where in this video you would have made it too quickly, because i think this is all high quality stuff,...
Also enjoyed Mozart (or perhaps Handl), wich was surprisingly fitting music for this Photoshoot,...

Hi Erwin, thank you for your kind words.
      about the time spend:
1 hour for the video capture
1 hour for the video montage
it's not a lot and i could add more details and diversity. I don't know why, i'm always very hurried to finish!! that's my problem.
However, i knew my concept before working on it. I knew my direction.

I think screenarchers create their sets or images very personnaly.
I just follow my feeling on moving the camera.
If you think this video is cool, so this is the main and my objective is complete.
I will watch the feedback on youtube. If i have some nice feedbacks, maybe i can go further on some techniques to share on videos.
