The fourth video in our tutorial series working with the Skyrim Creation Kit covers cave-building basics. I will show you how to use static architecture pieces in the green cave dungeon kit to build a large hallway that transitions our Nordic dungeon kit into our green cave kit. I demonstrate how to build a large cave room, how all of the green cave pieces work together, and how to expand your cave into unique halls, paths, and shapes to provide a more organic feeling. Lastly, I cover how to work off the grid and how to use the snap-to-angle method on a reference object that is not set on the original angles. The goal of this series is to help beginner modders learn how to use the Skyrim Creation Kit. There are not many modding tutorials out there that are up to date or go into the simplistic easy-to-learn detail that I was looking for as a beginner. Hopefully, these videos will help new modders channel their creativity into amazing projects for the gaming community.
