Dawnguard - first Skyrim new content

Bethesda has announced the name of its first Skyrim new content 'Dawnguard'.

Little detail is available at the moment, Bethesda has said it will release more information at the next E3, which is on 5-7 June.

Bethesda said it would be available for the northern hemisphere Summer, which is June-August.

Dawnguard will be only sold for Xbox 360 for the first month or whatever.

    I get the feeling that the flying vampires shown on the Gamejam might just have something to do with this. (the red eyes)

    "I will never understand bethesda... They release custom content for skyrim, for consoles even tough the game is hardly bugged, the ck crashes after 15 minutes of use! Why dont stop adding crap content and starting fixing your game!"

    1) Different personnel handle different issues. If one team is working on DLC, it doesn't mean the rest of the company is just sitting around twiddling their fingers. Be realistic.
    2) Strange. I've had my CK open for hours at a time and to date haven't had a crash. Don't blame Bethesda for your computer's problems. Again, be realistic.

    You guys should be happy. At least you can buy DLC from Steam directly, while all russian and other post USSR gamers will be forced to wait till 1C Company (have exclusive rights to sell TES and Fallout games here, thx Bethesda or Steam, or whoever thought it would be cool idea) will poorly translate and voice over addon the next month or year after release. Then we will have to deal with incompatibilities and other problems. We can't even buy Bethesda games and addons from Steam (more to that we can't buy those games even from 1C, because they ran out of stock or so I was told by 1C support last year, still can't buy an Oblivion copy). No wonder more than half of our gamers support piracy.

    my only concern is hopefully any new content provided by DLC won't have any problem with custome race mods.

    dlc for xbox first again....the way is is suppose to be is xbox and pc get the dlc first then ps3 gets is like a year later lol

    My guess too what it is, is that the Dovahkiin is gunna be some badass vampire (obviously) but at the same time im kinda weighing more towards something having to do with Azura being that they talk about dusk and dawn...? Maybe we possibly go to the Moonshadow instead of the Shivering Isles? from the Dawn part of it? Idk maybe im just an idiot but I personally think that would be amazing.

    I think Madcat221 posted gif on page 6 pretty much sum it up. lol, had a gd laugh. I think new official content is good, doesn't matter when they release it as long as they do. It adds to the game along with the many mods that have been made and make the game last longer with more re-playability value. Maybe it's just me but I like games which can last a good while instead of one which I play a week and that's it. <img class=">

    Why are people complaining about the earlier xbox release?
    as far as i can tell xbox game releases only mean that you become a paying form of betatester for games if you buy them early on, so all the advantages are on the side of the others because they get to play a (more or less) bugfree game right away!
    i don´t now how you all think about that but imho betas for testing should be free...
