Incremental update 1.5.26 is now live for all Steam users. (Latest SKSE Release), (Latest ScriptDragon Release)

Bug Fixes (Same as the beta...)
  • Fixed issue with frequency of first person kill cameras
  • Underwater effects now display properly
  • Fixed crash when loading certain plugins (PC Only)
  • Fixed issue where sun would not appear properly after fast travel


Can't launch the game after updating? Try these steps:
  • Delete the SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini in your "DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim" folder. (Be sure to backup your old .ini's)
  • Delete SKSE/ScriptDragon or update to the newest versions. (Make sure you delete files from the old versions!)
  • Disable all mods, including texture/model packs (easily done in NMM, not as easy when installing manually...).

    The PS3 version of this update gives an immediate CTD when entering water. It freezes both the game and the console. Normal streams that you can wade across are fine, but the second you submerse yourself in the water it causes my game to freeze up. I am guessing that this has something to do with the underwater changes that have been made since the last update.

    Sorry if this has already been brought up^^.

    My graphics card is causing a complete system shutdown because of overheating which never occurred before this patch. I'm using a HIS hd 5770. Has anyone else had this problem with ATI/AMD cards overheating after the patch?


    I am also having this issue. ATI 5870 with 12.4 drivers.

    Steam still isn´t downloading this update for me O.o

    EDIT: The latest version I can download on steam is the Beta of this update. And the beta doesn´t do anything good to me-.-

    Am I missing something, or do three of the fences still NOT work after this patch? I've not yet completed all the Thieves Guild quests, but it seems like the fences should be working now. When I try to talk to them, they just say "I don't have business with you" or make generic banter.

    Aah.. thanks for the commercial jonas but seriously the card is overheating because of the patch it didn't before and it doesn't now that I rolled back. Skyrim is "Nvidia friendly".

    Just curious, anyone else experience this. I was exploring in the tundra..ran into 2 bandit, only 1 didn't have a head and the other was and still is invisible. Lydia is still taking swings at an invisible bandit and I left my comp on all night...and she still fighting an invisible bandit. I'm at wits end. I hope no one else is having issues like these. I still have a back up from 1.3 and 1.4. I'll prob just restore one of those.
