Tytanis is one of the more prominent members of the modding community here at the Nexus family of sites. He has recently won our File of the Month contest and has one of the most endorsed files on Skyrim Nexus. "Tytanis - The Ultimate Mod" has been around since the very beginning of Skyrim modding, and continues to be one of the most popular mods. So without further ado, I give you an interview with Tytanis himself.
Special thanks to Tytanis for agreeing to do the interview. You can download "Tytanis - The Ultimate Mod" here.
GZ on more exposure Tytanis. Apply @ tytanis.com? I wish I had the gohard for that but I'm still not ready yet. /shrug Playing on a laptop, still cant afford to play skyrim, let alone how its meant to be played... Meh. Thanks for the interview ladies and gentlemen.
I agree with rabcardiv. I am tolerant of other people's individual interests, but for the past week about 4/5 top mods are nude female or anime things. These are, of course, completely okay since we all have our separate opinions. However, if there's only 5 slots for popular front page mods there should be a bit more variety.
This mod IS amazing. It adds so much more stuff to the game. I have been playing it all evening and the only thing I have seen that might be my own fault..don't know..are floating cow pies.. I don't walk under them. Thanks for this mod. Endorsing!!
If you haven't already, check YouTube for Skyrim Creation Kit videos. Stuff like putting up a simple vendor has been stated in multiple videos.
I personally think that Tytanis should just continue to focus on his mod, and leave the 'teaching others' part for later, or just for other people alltogether, especially for the simple stuff.
Of course, some of the things he's done already require a lot of the not-so-simple stuff too, so yeah, maybe those would be nice to know about.
Have you considered writing out or making video tutorials on some of the aspects of your modding process? Like how to add vendors, make new mounts, add a new spell, or basic scripting.
Basically to add to the wiki pages tutorials on the CK that are not yet explained?
I hope this is compatible with my current mod list. It looks amazing going to try it out. I'm surprised no one has made a mountain climbing mod...rope, gear etc..or a grappling hook..lol. This mod looks awesome..downloading now. I've always wanted to farm my own ingredients. Congrats on file of the month.
