I'm not saying Bethesda shouldn't have brought back the Centurions, but that I hoped they didn't. The Dwemer were highly technologically advanced - robots, animunculis, orreys - and that expains why I dislike anything having to do with them. Luckily you can mod what you don't like <img class=">

Rydan, the Dwemer is part of the culture in Morrowind though, so it's only natural that they also bring back their creations.

Hm, that was a pretty good read (I didn't read it before my above post lol). I remember when they did something similar for Oblivion. Can't wait to see more diaries though.

[mode Arvena on] Technology! In my game! *sobs* [mode Arvena off]

When Bethesda said they were trying to bring some of that back and walk the line between Morrowind and Oblivion I thought they were talking about culture, not creatures.

Fine, I now know what one of my first mods is going to be: convert ALL centurions in game with something else... not steam based. Ha.

Centurion are robots, Rydan. <img class=">
Difference from Morrowind is that they used to role around on balls, now they walk on legs. I find it pretty cool! <img class="> (OR there are various types, which is even cooler!)

I would assume to be various types, as in Morrowind, they walked on legs as well <img class=">

That's right. I had forgotten that one!
So, hopefully, we'll see both of those, if not even more!

I seem to remember in one of the Game Informer Behind the Scenes videos there was an... animator or sound guy working on a...ball-based centurion.

Edit: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/01/14/the-sounds-of-skyrim.aspx Around 1:40. Guy calls it a Dwarven Sphere and makes note that it appeared in Morrowind.

    W-WHAT?!!! ... *faints and falls*

(I've never played Morrowind, but I just saw the elderscrolls.wikia.com page for steam centurions)
