"Also known as Ceymer (cey meaning "shadow"), they are part of the forgotten races of Tamriel. Shadow Elves are troglodyte people, which causes them to be unknown for most people and misinterpreted as Dunmer, probably because of their skintone. Ceymer have the ability to hide in the shadow, merging their body with it, and can see in the night, but they fear magic and fire. They are good thieves, spies or assassins."
