Hunter and Ranger Crafting
1.5

=============
Requirements
=============
The latest version of Base Skyrim. No DLC is necessary.

===========
Description
===========

This mod adds some craftable light armor, weapons, and food to Skyrim that are appropriate for a Ranger. Because a Ranger is a person who stays out for long periods in the wilderness, the craftable items added by this mod are all lightweight and simple.

The more powerful items will require some unofficial questing to gather some rare materials and then multi-step processes to combine them, which should make their creation a rewarding experience. It's gonna take more than leather and strips to make this stuff!

One of the reasons I made this mod was because the higher-level gear in unmodded Skyrim has a little too much ... cowbell? ... for my taste. I can't imagine a hunter stalking the bushes wearing glass armor. Therefore, I made this mod so you can have glass armor level protection while wearing something more appropriate for a ranger.

The craftable items added by this mod look unique from other craftable items, even while I constructed them exclusively using Vanilla Skyrim meshes and textures.

See the screenshots or the in-game book for required materials.

The book is called "Ranger Notes on Crafting," and a free copy can be found sitting on the counter in the Drunken Huntsman shop in Whiterun, or can be bought from Belethor's Trade Goods, also in Whiterun.

Install/Uninstall
=================

It is highly recommended that you use the Nexus Mod Manager to install this mod. NMM is a great tool for clean, correct installation and also clean, correct de-installation. If you want to do it manually, I'll let you figure it out because I'll assume you know how it all works with correct folder structure, etc.

==========================
Known Issues and Conflicts
==========================

1. The amulet displays correctly in the Inventory Screen and on the ground, but the hawk beak part of it does not display on the Player Character in "Game Mode." This is due to technical issues beyond my knowledge of how nifs work for armor.
