After installing Lorecraft you can only craft recipes after you read a book on how to do it. But there is a blacksmithing tutorial that pretty much explains you how to craft stuff that was not adapted to Lorecraft. This patch does that.

Added the smithing quest script to the pack, so it will work over the bug against BSAs changing vanilla quests.

How does it work? When the blacksmith asks you to craft a dagger (and later a hide helmet), you will get a book on how to do it. That simple.
