Man, I love your mods, I use all of them, that allow requiem to work with, retextures and all. In the comments I see that you are about to release a new one, and the pics are amazing, When can we expect that? no pressure or anything, just love your work and prepearing for my next build.
Hi, FrankFamily! Thank you for such great texture! I saw that a mesh is prowided with the mod too... Is there any hope to see an open faced helmet version with opened eyes, also with opened mouth right below the nose part?
Considering the normal was upscaled, it really did produce a better result over vanilla when coupled with your texturing and there doesn't seem to be too many "guessing" remnants, which can be common with AI. I think this one is a lot more fine-tuned than when you used it for your Dragonbone textures :)
One particular thing with this one is that the highest res vanilla I've found was 512 even in SSE and the HD dlc, so from that to 4k (which admittedly for the helmet is overkill) was a bigger jump than usual, generally I'm doing 2x and sometimes running the AI on a lower res version seems better, the shapes are cleaner and even the maximum denoising on the program I use can be not enough. Still tinkering with stuff but on another retex I'm working on at the moment I've run through the AI also downscaled versions of the normal and then blend them in different areas where it was better.
I've tried it out myself before and it definitely needs some clean up work done afterwards to mix and match good parts like you said. I don't think it'll ever be as simple as load in image -> get perfect result (I mean, you can't really because it's still guessing) :P
