This is a mesh and texture replacer that combines HD Embers with ENB's Complex Fire Light system to produce some of the most realistic looking fires to date in Skyrim.

Update News
  • Version Alpha 3 was released. I resized the meshes back to 1.0 scale to deal with some very minor clipping issues with a few flames. I'm currently working on messing with the shader sub-mesh itself to change the lighting look without having to scale the fire effect itself. It should be in my next release.
  • Added complex particle enb series settings below to ensure proper lighting between particle lighting and fire lighting. Particle lighting covers smaller things, like coals and ember glows. Fire lighting controls larger fire effect lighting and has a larger, deeper range. If you do not understand these settings, just copy mine from below.

  • Replaces FXeffectfire meshes with ENB Complex Fire Light Meshes.
  • Replaces vanilla fire effects with Ultimate HD Fire Effects.
  • Replaces Forge Meshes with ENB Complex Fire Light Meshes, including licking flames from the coals.
  • Replaces Vanilla Campfire meshes with ENB Complex Fire Light Meshes, including Particle Embers
  • Replaces Campfire System Mod Campfire meshes with ENB Complex Fire Light Meshes, including Particle Embers for Roaring campfires. If you do not have this mod installed, it will not affect you in anyway.
  • Provides flame gradient texture from enb particle patch for complex fire lighting.

Installation
  • Install using vortex.
  • Set this mod to load after all others.
  • Ensure you have newest enb binaries installed and complex fire lights checked/enabled.
  • Reveal in the beauty of real fires, forges, and campfires.

Future Plans
This is an alpha release. I threw this together after a weekend of smashing my head against nifscope and a lack of any real documentation on the new complex fire particle system.

  • Check all meshes for any bugs/branch errors.
  • Learn and tweak fire particle lighting size to better scale and match fire sizes and types.
  • Start adding Complex Fire lights to other fires around Skyrim. Priority is giant fires.
