I installed this on a new save game and its great, but for one thing the base of the fires at the forge/s is white as well as the large "lamps" that line the walkway in Whiterun. Everything else looks good. Any suggestions (from anyone) to fix this would be appreciated.
But I believe it might have something to do with the meshes for the burned timber, either the meshes or the textures.
If you're using a replacer try temporarily removing it and see if it affects it, if it does, if you wouldn't mind posting the mod link here for me to check it out that would be great.
I've specifically tried avoiding such bugs as it's very apparent with nirnroots and glowing mushrooms and plants.
This is a good-looking ENB, but interiors are just way too bright. Is there anything I can tweak to make dungeons and other interiors dark?
Edit: Got it fixed. Tweaked AmbientLightingIntensityInteriorDay/Night down from 0.44 to 0.00 and everything's just like I want. Did the same to exterior lighting at night to get darker nights.
I've left it to 0.44 because of different lighting mods and interiors that don't respond well to different ambient lighting solutions, likewise I like to see some things at night as well :D.
But I'm glad you fixed it for yourself, have fun :D.
Looks good with Vivid Weathers after a few adjustments. How do you enable weather editing? I've edited weathers before with good results, so don't worry.
There's a box to tick on the bottom window I believe above ''Effects'' called ''Show Weather Window'' or something similar and a window on the right should pop up that would in theory allow you to modify the current weather.
But to modify any weather you need to create a weatherlist with all the weather codes in it. Kind of a chore with the countless weather mods.
With Vivid Weathers it's a bit tricky since it adds hundreds of new weather patterns so my ENB is made to kind of blanket over any weather mods.
In other words there are no custom weather parameters with this ENB.
On the other hand, Project Tamriel Unlimited does have custom weathers, but again with the weathers added by mods it's basically the base of the ENB that is active since I chose to enhance all the default weather patterns instead.
The reason for it is my pet peeve, consistent weather transitions. Custom weather mods have a major problem with abrupt weather changes, reason why I chose to uninstall Vivid Weathers and Climates of Tamriel, as much as I love them.
I would recommend Purity and Obsidian Weathers from the description for Oldrim.
Hi! Where are the color correction tools for Rudy ENB you mention? I can't find them anywhere and I would like to crank down the color a little bit with this ENB.
Just wanted to say Thank You for a wonderful ENB. Finally got the right balance of tweaks and everything looks like a movie. Took me 8 years to get here. Game is a joy and wonder to play. Makes my toon look so sexy. 5 ***** on this, exxxed!
I know it's a joy to finally get there and enjoy everything as you envisioned it. I'm glad you got it sorted out.
But for me there's always something else to move on to.
I've taken everyone's suggestions into consideration and followed a ton of new sources for my next ENB iteration that will pretty much abide by the same criteria as my former ones.
Performance, Looks and Compatibility with All Weather and Lighting mods out of the box.
Im having a problem, whenever I look at pale people (Sofia for example), fires that are indoors, basically really bright things, my lighting flickers so fast (im assuming attempting to compensate) and I drop all frames. Ive even had it crash once. Is there a way to fix this?
It's a problem with the meshes, nothing to do with the ENB in general.
The only similar thing I've had was to do with the SMIM carriages and the Riften Argonian Access mods, they would flash really brightly when spawned in by the culling system.
Love this ENB. More performance than my last one, lovely warm colors, the sky is great too during the day.
One issue (might not be from this, but any help appreciated) my night sky is a mess. The star field looks like a splash of chemical mess, it's blobby and weird. Very strange. Not sure what could be causing it.
I was marveling at the enb again today. I want to keep this one, so hopefully I can find a fix.One other small issue, I'm having a lot of lag in caves, with mist/dust. Do you know what setting I should turn off to help my fps? :D Thank you.
I've been having fun experimenting with all of the ENB's available. I think I've tried something around 30 of the presets. I've been using the ENB manager to purge and then just reinstall each one. So far, I truly enjoy this one with default settings. It is very well balanced out and the colors for the exterior and interior are perfect. My weather mods have the desired effect and there really isn't anything that I would change about it. Well done and thank you!
Try Skyrim ENB manager to purge and then do a fresh re-install. This should remove all miscellaneous files that may have been corrupted. It's absolutely flying for me with FPS averaging about 78, and then more ridiculously high numbers in the hundreds.
As with every ENB I have tried I still have a very bright screen, colors are all washed out and my character is red. This is a new game with the basic hd textures Steam installs. I am running a GTX1070 with 8Gb, I7 processor with 16Gb ram. My game's brightness is at 0 and I have no idea how to make adjustments. I need to reduce the brightness a bunch, increase contrast and staturation, make my character look right and sharpen the scenes. What do I need to do?
Does your game look and behave alright without any ENB after a fresh reinstall?
By default your brightness setting should be dead in the middle of the slider in the options.
Here's a few ideas off the top of my head (pure speculation but it's worth a try).
Before anything do please back-up your save folder if you don't want to lose anything (it's in My Documents - My Games)
Go in your steam game library - right click on the game and go to properties, after that go to Updates tab and on the bottom disable Steam Cloud (that should stop steam from backing up your game settings even after a reinstall).
After all that, access your Documents - My Games - Skyrim folder and delete everything (or temporarily move everything to a safe location)
After this there's a few options, launch the game with the launcher so it recreates all the INI files and then see what happens.
You might need to fully delete your entire Skyrim installation folder and completely start from scratch and see if that fixes it.
To me it sounds like a bad INI file or some sort of mod overlay that messes with the ENB. (maybe a bad reshade or something).
To make sure it's not some sort of Poxy dll file interfering with the ENB go to your game installation folder where TESV.exe is located, find enblocal.ini and open it. At the top there should be an option saying EnableProxyLibrary, make sure that option is set to false and not true.
Cheers, let me know how it goes, or you can contact me through the PM and share some more details.
There could be a magnitude of factors that might cause that - windows settings like HDR, Nvidia CP Display color settings like RGB instead of YCbCr 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2.
Thanks. Follow your advice but didn't see much improvement. Also how do I save my setting? I click 'apply setting' and the next time I run the game they are back where they were. After I make some changes and things looking better, I have to start from scratch each time.
The game works ok without ENB. Then I installed your ENB and graphics are not nearly as sharp and clear as your photos. Everything is hazy, misty, very bright and washed out. Character has a reddish tint. I am able to make some adjustments that help but I can't get the settings to save. I adjust the sun rays, bloom, sun glare, etc and they are fine till I quit the game but they reset as before when I log back in. So I have to adjust them again. MY brightness setting is in the in the middle by default but is set far left using your enb. If I could get the setting to stay where I put them, I might can get this ENB adjust right. Some times the graphics are very good but I lose them on restart. By the way I love your avatar. I was a big fan of Firefly and Nathan Fillion. The series is sadly missed.
Just to make sure, you are using the latest ENB binaries right? Sounds to me like you might be using an old ENB version or you might have some leftover files from another ENB. (Even when you reinstall the game Steam doesn't clear the leftover files that's why I was suggesting for you to install the game in a separate folder).
Anyway, the reason why I'm going off on a tangent here is that I created and tested this ENB on multiple weather mods and the vanilla game and it shouldn't behave like that.
To save your settings there should be a 'Save settings' tab on the top left of the ENB menu.
When I get home I'll PM you to try and help you sort it out without having to mess with the ENB in case you might wanna try out some other nice ENB like Rudy's and have them look like they were intended.

THANKS!!
It's in the effect's options on the enb menu. I'd use the vibrance setting.

Cheerio' and stay tuned :D.

The only fix was to remove the mods sadly.

Off the top of my head I'd recommend trying this ,Smooth Sky Mesh, see if it helps.
Thanks!

Please check if it fixes the issue.
Also I love the screenshot, your game looks amazing.
If you want, you could post some screenshots on the page, I always love to see how everyone's Skyrim looks with all the different setups.
It's truly fascinating how indepth we tend to go striving for perfection in our load orders and texture management.
Anyways, thank you very much and I'm happy you like it.
Please make sure you have installed all the necessary files of the ENB from this website, just go to the bottom of the page where it says download.
Afterwards follow the installation instructions, but prior to everything do a very thorough cleanup of your previous ENB.
Regards, Ed.

To apply you need to save first and then apply :-).
