    Hi everyone,.

So I've received many requests for a Special Edition version. Both here and other places such as the Oberon's court Facebook page (http://Facebook.com/oberonscourt )

Sadly making mods is a arcane Art I've not practiced in nearly four years. And I fear I haven't the resources to spend on this. Even my own indie game oberon's court (sorry for the plug) has suffered from me needing to spend a large amount of my time providing for myself and my soon to be larger family (I created life, yey) .

So sadly I need to focus on being other fields as a professional game designer. And for that I am ever grateful.

But anyone can download the moonpath files and modify them and reupload them. And they would have my full support as long as they are made available freely and publicly .

Creating the moonpath was one of the best experiences of my life. Thanks to anyone who enjoyed it and offered feedback. Its time for newer and better mods, there are plenty of them to support.

For those wanting to support me and my new projects please do so on Patreon Your support would mean a great deal to me.

    Thanks
    Tomas Sala

To the Community, RE going back to skyrim .

I've pretty much completed this mod only problem is, there is no options anywhere to get back from Elsweyr , IE talkng to everyone doesn't give me a choice that says I want to return to skyrim. There is the original doors that you come thorough at the beginning that say open to skyrim , but from experience playing thorugh before it's a one way trip to your death.

Question is there a safe way to get back? and if so where can i find it.

Post Script, I'm playing the version bundled with Legend of the Dragonborn, but had the same problem when i played the original mod too.

In the original version you return to Skyrim (the inn in Falkreath) by going back up the steps where you came into Elsweyr and through the big double doors. You can go back at anytime even without finishing any questline and also return to Elsweyr and carry on.

    Spoiler:
    Show

The design of the saved game file means it is unwise to uninstall a mod which has an ESP or ESM file in it. The saved file holds reference pointers to items (usually scripts) in the ESM/ESP file and if you uninstall the mod then you end up with pointers pointing at nothing. The result is that you make your saved game highly unstable and likely to crash at any time as the game attempts to evaluate one of those pointers. There are certainly tools which people have built which can sometimes recover a broken save-game file but there are no guarantees. I use 'Save game script cleaner' - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363 but I have had many more failures that successes at recovery.

The best approach is the official mechanism which is to restore a saved copy of the game from before the mod was installed.

indeed. That's why keeping written somewhere the last savegame number of your playthrough BEFORE activating a mod (ESP or ESM) is crutial IMHO.

Is there a way to safely uninstall this? After deleting and trying to make a clean save it still says it requires the esm so as to not crash

Make sure that you have downloaded the main file titled "moonpath to Elsweyr 95beta" which places four files in your data folder (moonpath.esm,moonpath.bsa,moonpath_questdata.esp,moonpath_questdata.bsa) and both the ESM and ESP files are shown as activated in your list of activated mods.

If you click download from the descriptions tab you will just get a small patch and not the actual mod itself.

    Fantastic mod!
Especially since it was made before there was a CK.
It's better than most mods that came after the CK was released!!
    I have a question.
There is a character that has an awesome hat. She's female and I cant remember her name. *Edit-Yura*
    This one needs that hat!!
How does one go about making it playable?

    Last edit*
    It's the Psiijic Hood.
Just a little digging and I found it.

*Sorry. I was enjoying some wine when I first posted. :-)

My experience with this is as such.
    Loaded my game.
    Sees quest popped up.
Marker lead me to Dead Man's Inn.
Went inside and saw 2 npcs that stood out in their armour.
Tried to talk to one... nothing. They just stood there.
The marker was leading to the other one though so... I tried talking to that one... nothing. Just stood there.
Saw a pile of food and plates all over the floor and a big opening in the back with a carriage inside.
Read the book and it leveled up one of my skills (forgot, but I think Sneaking).
    After reading I tried everything.

Tried jumping on the carriage, reloading, leaving the inn and going back in, getting to the door behind the carriage to see if I open it that way.
    Nothing worked.
I then even tried to kill the npcs and... I couldn't even touch them. I couldn't hit them. My weapons went right through them. This is the 1st time I've seen something just won't work for me. Sadly have to uninstall as it just not working for me.

It has a glitch with running alongside some recent versions of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. It is only on the recent patch versions that I have experienced this after playing many, many times and have now seen it for the first time and did a series of tested both with and without the patch.

On my system, somehow the coordinates of where to draw the carriage have moved, however the location to transport you on your way (the back of the carriage where you stow your gear) to be able to take a trip have not moved and are still inside the cage area as you walk toward the closed double-doors.

Just ignore the ghostly carriage and "stow your gear" to travel to Elsweyr in the cage room, it should be pretty easy to move around the room and find the activation point

One of the recent posts mentioned a seq file.
Now i know what caused this trigger cannot function...
Because in the past it worked without the additional generated seq file.

nice imagination and good atmosphere. BUT, missons and voice acting is so bad, I could only play about an hour or so... You will do better I know. This is promising.

I agree. Also throughout the entire mod I horrible framerate (like 12-15 fps almost the entire time). My laptop is a bit underpowered but in the regular game (dlcs included) I rarely drop below 25 fps.
