hq handmade texture replacer for treepineforestbranch texture including normal map in 2k, 4k and 8k resolution. branches are made from scratch in 8k from full detailed parts of a branch. to get the best results with snow coverage i worked with two layers and placed the snow layer over the default layer.
it is ment to be a high res replacer while fully enhanced vanilla trees mod compatible. it even compliments this mod. if you use tree mods (like sfo) using their own tree meshes my mod does not work until you delete/rename the treepine meshes of this mod and use vanilla compatible meshes.

it was my  goal to have some more detail so i would recommend the full detailed 8k option (8192x4096 pixel). the 8k opton will show more visible detail (including the needles) in game. because this texture is used as an atlas each branch has a resolution of about 1k-2k res in this 8k atlas (not too much if you compare with 2k flower mods) . so don't expect details if you try the vanilla sized 2k res option. 4k is the minimum i can recommend if you don't have a tree allergy.

textures are hq compressed including supersampled mipmaps. i tried tro preserve as much detail as possible downscaling the 8k texture but don't expect a wonder. if you fear trees, stay most of the time clear of them and you play vga resolution - you may be happy with the 2k option. if you play fullhd or with higher resolution and don't like a pixel show coming closer to the branches strictly omit the 2k option. it is 16x smaller than the original 8k texture!

the treecolors fit to my game settings (enb). depending on the feedback i would discuss the need of one or two color options.

have fun playing skyrim with detailed trees.
