    HEADS HAVE DIFFERENT COLOUR as the bodies on NPCs in Middle Earth Redone?
    Here is the solution in two steps:
    First go in Skyrim/Data/Meshes/actors/character/FaceGenData/facegenom folder and copy the TESVMiddelearthII.esp folder.
    Second paste the TESVMiddelearthII.esp folder inside FaceGenData/FaceGeom folder.
    Thats all, have fun with this great mod :-)

    Scrolls V MIDDLE-EARTH Redone.

    Files so far:
    - The missing script for the teleport spell.
    - All facegen meshes and Texture files.
    - A new ESP and ESM file for the English and German version.

    mod works nice so far. checked with nifhealer the nif and got some errors in the meshes folder \actors\bosmerarmormaty743\catandlizard\ fromFile___Header): Variable 'NumBlocks=-1431655766' is out of range !
    is this a serious problem ? got that also in some other mesh folders. nifscope can't open these files.

      There isn't a quest. Go to Farengar in Whiterun (The wizard there) and buy the teleportation items. Alternatively go on your map and there is a map icon on the west of the map that will take you to a door to Middle Earth.

      if nothing works install mod additem menu, search for the lotr mod, put the spells in your inventory and apply the middle earth spell

    looks pretty awesome this world. thanks for sharing this! and after exploring all areas i can say: no ctd or major glitches at all so far. some frame drops but always above 25fps and my game is modded to the limits with 254 esp/esm and many high res mods. distant gras lod seems to load in brown colour instead of green even generating lod with tes5lodgen. don't know if this is intended or an issue with some other mods.

    Another pretty big bug I encountered is in some of the zones the grass/plants are floating several feet above the ground. Can walk right through them but yeah it's pretty awkward looking.

    It 'would' be nice if Sam could at least touch up on some of these bugs before abandoning it. I can't even uninstall it without it crashing my game :/ At least it's a cool mod though (when it works).

      It´s to big to uninstall during a game play. You can uninstall and start a new game.

      Or you can try to go in door in Skyrim, save the game, uninstall the Mod, start game and save,
      clean the save game (for example http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76776/? SkyrimTools). start game.
      If it works lucky you.

      Sorry, I can´t really give support for the LE version. But I think it´s the same Problem like molleken
      have.
      You can try to install ENB boost. It could solve some memory problems.

      Well that's the problem, I can't uninstall it to start a new game because when I uncheck either ESP the game crashes upon opening. MO2 points out a missing plugin for the master file, not sure if there is a way to just replace those missing plugins after I uncheck the boxes?

      My main concern is MO2 shows quite a few conflicts with this mod and others I use, thankfully I haven't really noticed TOO many issues, but I'm thinking down the line when I uninstall, this mod is so big and has so many conflicts it'll be a "burden' I'll have to carry with me...but I guess that's what you sign up for when heavily modding Skyrim :P

      Fortunately it is a cool mod and really the only issues I'm having is the floating grass in certain zones (not all) and the messed up head textures....which for whatever reason the fix in the stickied up top doesn't work when done through MO2? Just doesn't seem to want to load those files idk. I do appreciate you following up though, I am a DIE HARD Tolkien fan so this mod really was fantastic, the Shire and Moria alone make it worth it....

      ...plus it was on the front page of eurogamer.net, how cool is that?! #ModGoals

      I can´t reproduce your issue, when I turn of the Mod Skyrim works as normal. and i use MO2 too.
      Turn off the Complete Mod! Not only ESP & ESM and if some plugin need the ESM turn it off too, MO2 will show you which.

      Sorry, With the floating grass Problem I can´t help you.

      Ok, now I have definite all faces for LE and they Work all. Iwill ask Maldaran, if I can upload it on this site.

      P.s. in the LE Version aren´t all FACES include, no matter what do you do!!!

      I had already tried unchecking the whole file with no luck. I dealt with it and now have two other mods that also rely on this mods master's plugin so I'm pretty much stuck with it. Like I said, at least it's a cool mod, I don't really mind as long as it doesn't mess anything up.

      Plus I watched a video on the CK and I'm pretty sure it's a fairly simple fix if I REALLY wanted to get into it. I don't think there's anything less I can do though. I will keep an eye out for your face textures because that is still a problem too. Good luck

    what a difference with the earlier version, this is amazing and i'm only exploring the shire so far...
    What you did with the entrances...wow, wow, wow...
    but one thing: at the fort besides Bree ( castle dunwood ) some dead civlians, more specific the females, have missing hairtextures...is there a hair mod needed ? If so there is no mention in the requirements.....or is it maybe a wrong texture path in the nif files....let's hope not because there are a lot to verify...
    anyway i continue to explore further and should i stumble on anything else i keep you posted...

      ran into another big issue, coming in the near of Bree or the little town aside results in instant CTD....fast travelling to Bree = CTD...tried with different settings but always same result....
      around this area something is still very wrong...rest of the shire map is ok...
      will try out another map and let you know....

      did another try on Bree, this time at night and i was able to discover Staddle and fast travel to Bree, so it has without doubt something to do with memory issues, since there is much less to do at night and not so many npc's around as in daytime....
      Maybe decreasing the activity and/or npc's ? Because i think i'm not the only one with this issue...

      NPC are very stress full for Skyrim LE just as Running or dash.
      It´s a big open world with open gates and no Loading. I can´t imagine to Play it on LE.

      You are a very patient person.

      Btw. I build only the Bree NPCs for LE, there are still some black face in the Mod.

      in the trollshaws map there is something in the area of the orc camp (not the tribe) that makes the game CTD, i can go as far as the petrified trolls clearing, but when advancing towards the camp and another camp/outpost (?) to discover always CTD , even when i try different directions or times (night-day).... everything else on the map is ok, only around Rivendell there is an fps hit.....can not tell if it will crash because i arrived at night (in game).....
      BTW : the spells from Farengar don't work...

      I think it´s a performance problem from LE, if you have SSE try that version, it´s more stable.
      Optional you can try Loot and BethINI for optimizes the game graphical fidelity and performance.

      BTW : the spells wouldn´t work, because the scripts is missing.
      You can download a working script from the SSE version in Update section.

      will download and try...
      as for the orc camp, as far as my memory goes, i recall that was allready a problem in the earlier version.....
      after further exploring the following issues occured :
      -in westemnet the area around Grimholds camp and Fords of Ysen ( they are both in the same corner) = CTD
      -in Ostemnet the area around Cliffguard = CTD
      probably the same problems as for the orc camp, in both cases the rest of the map was ok, maybe a navmesh problem ??. Because in all cases i don't notice performance hits before CTD...

      okay, tried the script and it's working flawless......thx again for this one
      after exploring the remaining maps, didn't found anything new....
      Gonna give it another try with BethINI (and LOOT) for the four problemcases (Bree, Westemnet, Ostemnet and Trollshaws)....
      Bree, Ostemnet and Trollshaws are ok, in Bree however still FPS hits....
      Westemnet keeps crashing even with different BethINI settings, so there must be another reason....
      Noticable: there is still a bunch of npc's with missing hairtextures......

      As well as the missing script and an Armor how is invisible.
      I saw there ar many identical records. Iwill clean it.

      I hope this will fix the main issues.

    Anyone Coming stuck at the Study table in Bag end? I keep getting ''you lack the required components to create this item'' i actually have the items to make the Elvish Parchment. So either its a bug or i there is something else going on. :-/

      I have the same issue (accidentally posted about it on wrong version forum earlier).

      Seems almost like there's a hidden ingredient for creating Elven parchment and Roll of Paper. Listed as required ingredients for Elven: Firewood, Lesser Soul Gem and Charcoal, have all in inventory but crafting option greyed out. List ends with a comma like there should be one more ingredient... Same for Roll of Paper, but it starts with a comma, then , Charcoal, Firewood.

      What's the secret ingredient? :)

      But thanks for a great looking and fun mod! Love it.

      the hidden ingredient is a Knife. but there are 5 knifes in game and they all called "knife". so its not easy to find. in my Version it shows up.

      oh, its a big file 1,6 GB and the Autor forgot to put some facegen in. In Bree all faces are black/grey in SSE and LE. I put all in FaceGenData/FaceGeom folder. But there only 265 facegen for almost 400 NPC´s.

      And I don´t know if the Autor let my upload it? It´s not my work!

      But it´s awesome any way and in SSE it works better for me then in LE.

      I build 105 Facegen for Bree , they works. So some left and I have no clue were they are.
