Do you plan to expand this mod? I am very intererested with your mod. I too am being challanged of wanting to have every NPC I encounter to have the Armor and outfit changed.

Is BDOR from teamtal or blak desert Online Armors included to the 1000 supported count?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Sorry don't look at this page very often these days. No there are no plans to expand the LE version. The SE version now has been significantly improved but I have no plans to backport it to LE.

The 1000 outfit limit refers to the number of outfits you can setup and so you could setup BDOR from teamtal or blak desert Online Armors if you want to.  NB where as in the LE version you would have to create each outfit individually in the showroom, the SE version has the facility to generate outfits from an ESP file.

Hello! ive noticed that several npcs in solitude have stopped loading their assigned uniform. i first noticed that Elisif was in default garb and eventually all solitude guards along with farmers. any ideas how to fix this?

Just Solitude? Sounds weird. There's probably an answer in the papyrus logs. Perhaps another mod interfering and giving them back their default outfit.

      Some things to try/check:

      • Check the inventory of Elisif and see if she has the outfit you assigned in her inventory.
      • In the MCM menu, find Elisif in the Targets 1-30 and make sure that the % of Elisif to update value is at 100%. If this was less than 100% then it would allow default outfit to be chosen by the mod.
      • Try using the Update Single NPC's outfit spell on Elisif to get her to change her outfit
      • In the MCM menu select Rescan NPCs to force all NPCs to update outfit.
      • Lastly try disabling and re-enabling the mod as this should put it back to a clean state.

Let me know how you get on

I am looking for a replacer of Wet & Cold, but this mod seems to add clothes at random.
Perfect would be, if nearby NPCs would dress suitable clothes depending on the kind of weather.

Probably not the mod for you then, as I have no inclination of introducing any realism into it

    Great mod!

    And here is my question.

What will happened if I assign more than one outfit to a target?Which outfit will NPC wearing?

It will pick one of the assigned at random

      Thanks.

One more question. Is there any chance to add support for assigned weapons to NPC in the furture?

Hello and thank you for bringing this little gem to the game.
I just took some time to prepare an armor replacement list and ordered the mod to rescan the NPCs - it took less than 2 seconds to do so and the changes in nearby NPCs were noticeable immediately. Wonderful.

One question: is it possible to make the mod pick from different mods/lists for males and females?
For example, to choose from immersive armors for the males and TERA armors for females?

Yes. When you enable males in the MCM you can designate any outfit as being applicable to just males, just females or applicable to both

I can't believe this mod hasn't got significantly more downloads ! It truly is an incredible astonishing concept, unfortunately I can't play Skyrim much nowadays. . Would it be possible to know what exactly are classes? Is there a wiki page somewhere that tells you which npc's or which clothes are linked to a specific class? Much love !

I'm just trying to get my head around the functionality of this mod, which looks pretty cool.

Is it possible to assign NPC's to specific classes or change which NPC's are in which classes?

For instance, if I want Ysolda to draw of the Jarl's class of clothing, can this be done and if so, how? And where does the mod know which NPC's are in which classes?

No sorry its not possible to do that at the moment. The mod targets classes of outfit and the outfit used by an NPC is defined in the base game. Unfortunately Ysolda wears one of either the farmer or merchant outfits along with lots of other NPCs. The only time my mod can target an individual NPC is when they have a unique outfit, Elsif being an example.

Now there are probably various things you can do to get round this, such as:
      - Use the Update indivdual NPC spell on Ysolda till they are assigned the outfit you want and then using the spell to which stops then changing outfits daily. The only downside is that other NPCs in the same class will also pick up that outfit randomly.
      - You could use the Creation Kit to create a small mod that gives Ysolda hre own outfit and then add that to the configure files in my mod. It something that would only take a few minutes if you know what you are doing, although I admit it would probably a bit daunting for someone inexperienced at modding.
      - Use a different outfit manager for Ysolda. Simple Outfit Manager uses dialogue to allow you you change an NPCs outfit. I haven't tried in a very long time but both my mod and Simple Outfit Manager should play nice together, although I think you would again have to use my mods spell to stop Ysolda from changing her outfit daily.

Thanks for getting back to me. Can you confirm how the mod assigns NPCs to a class?

Based on your response, I assume that it's based on the NPC's default armor?

Yes that effectively it. In the CK each NPC is assigned an outfit. In Ysolda's case its called FarmClothesOutfit04. FarmClothesOutfit04 is also used by 22 other NPCs defined in the base game. Now the there are 20+ different farm outfits defined in the CK and my when my mod detects anyone wearing any of the outfits it has listed in the farmer class then it picks one of the replacement outfits in the farmer class.

One more way I thought of where you an achieve what want is to use the Exclude NPC functionality in my mod. This allows my mod to ignore certain NPC. There is a short outline in the Mod Description. Effectively what you need to do is add the Npc base id to the ExcludedNPCs list in the classOutfits.json file found in the skse\plugins\npcclothingreplacer sub-directory in the mods directory. To exclude Ysolda you would change the ExcludedNpc entry to this:
      "excludenpcs" : [ "0x00013BAB"]
After stopping and restarting the mod in the MCM Ysolda should not longer be touched by my mod and you can use Simple Outfit Manager to dress her how you please.

If you wanted to exclude other NPCs you would just need their base id which you can either get from the CK or from various sites on the internet, for example
      https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Ysolda

I understand. Unfortunately, I don't think the mod has the functionality I want it to at this point, but I will certainly keep an eye on it because it looks very promising.

Ideally, I'd want to be able to create custom classes and assign NPCs to them and if that can be achieved, that's great, but I appreciate that it is probably very difficult to do, so if it doesn't happen, that's not an issue and I'd like to thank you for your work.
