   Introduction...

 VAIN Play is a mod that will allow you to play as my vampire; Vain.
 
Vain is a powerful vampire. He hunts and slays abominations to protect the innocent. He is feared by vampires and mortals alike.

Vain has a unique appearance, a unique armor set, unique combat animations, and unique combat abilities.
He is an unarmed martial artist, specializing in vampire magics.
He projects long range blood magic through his kicks and claw strikes.
His unarmed strikes steal health from his enemies.
He quickly dodges attacks.
He blocks attacks with his bladed gauntlets, while transforming his skin into ebony.
Vain has unique allies.

His main ally is a Sabrecat Vampire, named Vlad.

Vlad has a unique armor, unique appearance, and unique combat abilities.
He follows the player through doors.
He glows red whenever he is in combat.
His claw strikes steal health from his targets.

His secondary allies are the Teenage Elven Vampires, Vira & Vril.

Vira has a teen voice, a unique armor set, unique appearance, and unique combat abilities.
She is Vril's older sister.
She is an unarmed brawler, specializing in spider magics.
She summons a custom Spider guardian.

Vril has a child voice, a unique armor set, a unique appearance, and unique combat abilities.
She is Vira's younger sister.
She is an unarmed healer, specializing in wisp magics.
She summons a custom Wisp Mother guardian.

Allows Vain to use a "Mortal Mask" spell to transform into a human race
Allows you to tweak how NPC's react to vampires.
I recommend making NPC's hostile to vampires at all times.
This enhances the role-playing aspect of using "Mortal Mask" to venture into human settlements.

 Skyrim Unbound
Allows Vain begin game as a Vampire
Allows Vain to skip the intro scene
Allows Vain to spawn wherever you like

 Immersive First Person
Allows you to see through Vain's eyes.
Allows Vain to dodge while in first person combat.

 Installation Notes
  ---------------------------------------------

 Vain
Vain.ESP makes edits to the "Player Record" to give Vain a player-exclusive body.
Load Vain.ESP after any other mods that make changes to the "Player Record".
Use TES5Edit to copy over changes from other mods that effect the "Player Record".

 Vain's Animations
Vain's Animation package requires FNIS PCEA2
Install FNIS first.
Install FNIS PCEA2.
Unpack Vain's Animation package into FNIS PCEA2's folder, inside of Meshes.
Run FNIS.

 Vain's Preset
Vain's Preset requires Racemenu.
Install Racemenu.
Install Vain's Preset.
Select Vain's Preset while in Racemenu, in game, from the Presets tab.

 Vlad, Vira, & Vril
Vril.ESP depends on Vlad.ESP being loaded before it.
Vril.ESP depends on Vira.ESP being loaded before it.
Vira.ESP depends on Vlad.ESP being loaded before it.
Vira.ESP depends on SassyTeen.esp being loaded before it.

 Vain's Combat Notes
  -----------------------------------------------------
 
 Vain's Projectile Magics
Vain has a miscellaneous armor piece which, while equipped, projects blood magic after a weapon swing.
Each projectile costs 1Health and 1Magicka.
The projectiles will stop firing when your HP and Magicka are too low.
Hotkey the armor piece to quickly turn the projectile combat mode on and off.
After equipping the armor piece for the first time, draw your weapon, save, and reload, for the script to kick in.

 Vain's Animations
While a weapon is drawn, Vain will automatically dodge when pressing "Left", "Right" or "Back" arrow keys.
Vain's unarmed animations are designed to compliment his projectile magics.
His dodges won't work in first person mode unless you use an "immersive first person" mod.
Immersive first person mod allows 3rd person animations to be used in 1st person, including mounting Vlad the sabrecat.

Vain's Armor Notes
 ------------------------------------------------

 Vain's Armor
To equip Vain's armor, for now, you'll have to use the command console.
Press the "~" key while in game.
Type "help vain" and press "Enter" key.
Use "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys to search for the armor in the list.
Type "player.additem xxxxxxxx" and press "Enter" key.
Replace "xxxxxxxx" from the above line with the number following an item.
Repeat the above step for each of Vain's items.

Soon I will edit Vain.ESP so that each piece of armor is automatically added to the player's inventory when beginning a new game.

Vain's Companions Notes

 Hiring Vira and Vril
To hire Vira and Vril at the same time, install Follower Mod.
Follower Mod requires SKSE and Sky UI.
In game, visit Follower Mods configuration tab, in SKY UI.
Click "Add anyone as follower" dialogue option.
Ask Vira to become a follower.
Ask Vril to become a follower.

Vira can be found in Solitude's Bards Guild.

Vril can be found in Solitide's Blue Palace.

 Finding Vlad
To find Vlad, there are two methods. Method one involves console commands. Method two involves traveling to whiterun (untested).

Method One...
Open the console by pressing the "~" key.
Type "help vlad" and press the "enter" key.
Add "Vlads bone" to your inventory, by typing "player.additem xxxxxxx".
Replace "xxxxxxxx" from the above line with the number beside "Vlads bone".

Method two....
Visit whiterunes dragonsreach.
Pickup "Vlads Bone".

Vlad will follow the player while "Vlads Bone" is in your inventory.
To make Vlad wait, drop "Vlads Bone" and he will stay near his bone, until it is retrieved.

 Vain Armor (FIXED IN V1.1)
I'll fix the bug where a black soul crystal hovers beneath Vain's feet when he has equipped his "projectile magic" armor piece.
Vain's Neck Brace has a missing texture file, so it appears shiny and weird. I'll fix that. FIXED.

 Vril Body
I'll add a permanent "ghost effect" to her skin.

 Vira and Vril Dependency Edits
I'll reduce the dependency they have on each other and Vlad.esp.
The only reason they are dependent is because of "relationship" edits.
I'm not even sure if they do anything at all in game, so i might as well remove them.
I added relationship edits signaling Vril as Vira's sister.
I added relationship edits signaling Vira and Vril as Vlad's companion.

 Vira and Vril Alternative Lag-Free Appearances
I'll add alternative downloads for Vira and Vril that are intended to be performance based.
These alternative downloads with come with armors that are much less intensive on your CPU.
Their bodies might also be edited to be lower resolutions, in the alternative downloads.

 Vira Armor Meshes (FIXED IN V1.1)
I forgot to include some meshes for her armor.
Will re-upload with the meshes soon. FIXED.

 Vira Voice (FIXED IN V1.1)
I forgot to include "teen follower" ESP which contains Vira's voice. Her ESP wont even be usable untill i upload that, so don't even try.
I'll fix this soon. FIXED.

 Vril Wisp Textures
I forgot to include Vril's custom Wisp Armor textures. Her armor is currently using default vanilla wisp textures.
Will re-upload with the correct textures soon.

 Mod Description
I'll add tons of screenshots of each facet of the mods added here.
I'll write a backstory for Vain and his allies, detailing their purpose, personality, and reason for arriving in Skyrim.

 All in One Download
I'll compile all of these mods into one download AFTER i've finished the rest of the stuff on my to-do list, for convenience.
For the all-in-one download, i'll include a merged ESP of Vain and Vlad.
The other ESP's (Vira, Vril, Vampire Lord Form, & TeenVoice) will remain unmerged because merging them will create difficulties.
